I recently stayed at this hotel in a Super Deluxe Sea View with Balcony room. Although I was promised a front sea view room, I did receive a room with a good view. The breakfast was also satisfactory.
However, there were some issues that detracted from my stay:
1. Renovation and Lift Outage: The hotel was under renovation, and our room was on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, the lift was also out of order due to the renovation. This was a significant problem, especially since one of my parents is a heart patient and the other has high blood pressure. Climbing the stairs multiple times a day was quite challenging for them.
2. Bathroom Issues: Although the bathroom was clean and had Jaguar sanitary ware, the jet spray broke after just one press. I found it unusual that a Jaguar fitting would break so easily.
3. Room Leak: On a rainy day, water leaked into the room, flooding the floor.
4. Housekeeping Staff Behavior : On the day of departure, the housekeeping staff insisted on tips and made unpleasant comments when we didn't give them any.
5. Wifi coverage: The WiFi didn't reach my room, and when I asked the reception about it, they told me that it wouldn't reach the rooms. If the WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, am I supposed to sit in the lobby all day? That's pathetic.
Given that we weren't informed about the lift outage during booking, we would have considered canceling our stay if we knew about it. I had confirmed with the hotel multiple times about the room and view, but no one mentioned the lift issue.
