I would highly recommend Artjuna Cabanas over any other hostel in Goa as a solo traveller. If you’re someone who wants peace and calm that’s your go to place. My stay there was extremely comfortable. The overall vibe, ambience and the comfort of the place was 10/10. I took the package with breakfast and it was something that I really looked forward to everyday when I woke up. The quality of the mattress, room cleanliness and overall hygiene was top-notch. Cherry on the top was the yogashala where one could go and attend yoga too. My special thanks to Melvin, Shibani, Vishvam and the other staff members who took really good care of me. They provided basic daily essentials too, like the shampoo, shower gel and towel which most hostels charge you for it. Melvin especially was there throughout the day and he visited often in night just to ensure that everything’s alright. We had no restrictions as such, I stayed there for 10 days and the place became my home. Since it was my first solo travel and being a female I had a lot of reservations but this place turned out to be the best decision so far. The location is also pretty good, it’s in the heart of Anjuna close to the beach and other popular places are also nearby. The management personally engages with you to take feedback. The only improvement that I felt was the addition of privacy curtains in bed which they agreed that it’s in their list and the wifi connectivity throughout the place is a bit spotty, which can be easily ignored if you’re getting other and better perks. I look forward to coming again especially for the breakfast and the staff.
