We booked a room at this property through Agoda, but our experience was extremely disappointing:
• Difficult Location: The property was very hard to locate and reach, which caused a lot of inconvenience right from the start.
• Booking Not Honored: Upon arrival, we were told that the hotel does not accept Agoda bookings, and we were forced to make a new reservation through MakeMyTrip (MMT) while standing at the reception.
• Unfair Charges for Child: Our MMT booking clearly included breakfast for 2 adults. We were traveling with our 5-year-old child, but the manager insisted we needed to book separately for the child—even though we didn’t require an extra bed and said the child would not go for breakfast. Despite that, the manager refused to provide breakfast unless we paid extra for the child. Eventually, we declined the breakfast altogether due to the unreasonable demands.
• Lack of Basic Amenities: When we requested a dental kit and a hair dryer in the room, we were told they weren’t available. The manager was rude, and the staff was unhelpful and uncooperative.
• Unprofessional Handling During Checkout: The next morning, our child requested tea and toast. Since the room phone wasn’t working, we had to go to reception again. A different manager was present, who kindly said that the child could eat breakfast at the restaurant as it was included. However, once we were at the restaurant, a waiter informed us that our breakfast was not included. Upon checking, we found that the previous (rude) manager had told the staff to say this—even after we were told otherwise.
Overall, our stay was full of confusion, miscommunication, and unprofessional behavior. This level of service is unacceptable, and we feel misled and mistreated throughout our stay.
