Amparo @ The Mall by HNH

The stay was terrible , i was staying wd family and we had an infant and 6year old baby with us. The location of the hotel is not accurately mentioned so its not that easy for anyone to reach the Hotel. The staff was rude and not helpful at all, when we asked if they can come to pick us up since we have kids because we had to walk approx 1kms 1st and then go downwards from a steep walkway …they bluntly refused. Rooms were average, and no options in Breakfast. Overall pathetic stay, Rude staff and below average food.

Location was worst. Food was below average. Also there was seepage in the room. Hospitality was too poor. For everything we had to ask (even for giving fresh towels on second day). Hygiene wise also not that good. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Good Location just a couple of minutes walk to Mall Road. The only difficult part was taking your luggage to the Hotel. The staff was very courteous and the breakfast was very tasty. The Manager Shailender ji was very helpful. Value for money. P.S : Don’t expect 5 star amenities at this price and carry your toiletries.

Location was Easily accessible and the view from the balcony was great. Saw sunrise too. We asked for a room upgrade and they gave that free of cost. The staff and the service were also great. Totally worth considering...

It was a mind blowing experience at Amparo really I never ever thought that me n my family got such a great service and food ...i strongly recommend everyone to stay at Amparo

I'd say hotel is good for a weekend stay. But just a small suggestion that property needs some maintenance. Rest is fine.

We booked a room at this property through Agoda, but our experience was extremely disappointing: • Difficult Location: The property was very hard to locate and reach, which caused a lot of inconvenience right from the start. • Booking Not Honored: Upon arrival, we were told that the hotel does not accept Agoda bookings, and we were forced to make a new reservation through MakeMyTrip (MMT) while standing at the reception. • Unfair Charges for Child: Our MMT booking clearly included breakfast for 2 adults. We were traveling with our 5-year-old child, but the manager insisted we needed to book separately for the child—even though we didn’t require an extra bed and said the child would not go for breakfast. Despite that, the manager refused to provide breakfast unless we paid extra for the child. Eventually, we declined the breakfast altogether due to the unreasonable demands. • Lack of Basic Amenities: When we requested a dental kit and a hair dryer in the room, we were told they weren’t available. The manager was rude, and the staff was unhelpful and uncooperative. • Unprofessional Handling During Checkout: The next morning, our child requested tea and toast. Since the room phone wasn’t working, we had to go to reception again. A different manager was present, who kindly said that the child could eat breakfast at the restaurant as it was included. However, once we were at the restaurant, a waiter informed us that our breakfast was not included. Upon checking, we found that the previous (rude) manager had told the staff to say this—even after we were told otherwise. Overall, our stay was full of confusion, miscommunication, and unprofessional behavior. This level of service is unacceptable, and we feel misled and mistreated throughout our stay.

It is easily accessible and best past that we were duly contacted by hotel staff and properly guided and welcomed

Stay was terrible , hotel staff behavior was very rude. Before check in , we had a conversation with the receptionist for room upgrade as we had booking of 2 rooms out of which one room doesn't have a balcony. So we ask for upgrading, he told to pay 1000 , we paid him. But when we arrived at the hotel , he suddenly said that we have to pay 1500 for upgrade and when we said no. He talk very rudely with us , we had our 1 year old baby with us too., breakfast was very limited with few options , there was no breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend people to not book this hotel otherwise you will spoil your trip. Don't book this hotel and waste your money.
