Lets start with Checkin experience. We were made to wait for 20 minutes past checkin time. On asking the time required we were not given a proper answer instead the boy who was at the checkin counter kept strolling back and forth, resting and god knows what else! Food service was proper however when the food arrived we were sleeping and said that we will take time to clear the tray from the room as we will sleep for a couple hours then wake up and have the food. In between those 2-3 hours the staff knocked twice and interrupted our sleep to take the food tray as if there was no other tray available with them and it seemed as if we are going to run away with the tray and plates and cutlery! Jumping forward to going out of the hotel, it felt like a school hostel as we had to sign a register entering our name, room number and time of exit and entry! Hilarious as it was infuriating as well. Anyways, we had breakfast included in our package and what we got was toasted bread, diced watermelons and puri sabji! when we asked for boiled eggs we were denied the same by an extremely oversmart and unprofessional staff who was continuously showing off attitude for no reason and after 10.30 that is post breakfast was over he said that only omlette was available. We did not argue much and took the omlette. Next day when we were about to checkout that very oversmart staff came in our room with the bill of the extra things we had taken. I did not even give him permission to enter the room and he entered! He was continuously looking inside the room and entered without permission as if we would go away without paying the bill. Also we had another room booked and three of us were in my room sorting out our packing and he charged at us saying that there were only two of you how come there is a third person in the room which was none of the staff's business. coming to the room review. room was cozy and ean but the washroom door did not close fully and we had to use the washroom with door half open! Lol! So much in off season! Anyways in short even though the ambience of the place was nice and quaint with cats roaming everywhere which was the only good thing about the place the staff were unprofessional and nosy about others affairs and not helpful at all also very casual behaviour towards guests who are staying there paying money and giving business. I definitely would never book this place again in my future stays in Goa. Rather our stay at Calangute was much better with good staff and view. Zero stars.

Awful awful room, horrible owners. Insects and spiders in bed. Had booked for 4 day. Checked out on the second day itself. No refund. Still preferred to leave the hotel. It’s better than staying in a dump.

Worst stay, we waiting 30 minutes for check in, room was not ready, electricity problem, water was not coming, no service, room key was not working. This was my worst stay ever.

Would like to get better service. Food can be better. Rooms are fine and good for the price. A lot of cats and dogs roaming nearby, fortunately they were behaving good

Very very small room. Flash not working. Bad behavior of food counter boy. Area is natural beauty.

Pros: 1. Great location, nearby beach, cafés are at walking distance. 2. Staff is responsive 3. Cosy rooms 4. Food is not great but alright Cons: 1. Amenities like kettle, etc are not available 2. Washrooms have bad odour 3. Parking can become quite frustrating during rainy season

Hello guys, curlies shiva valley cottages is a booking name for zululand cottages which is 150meters from shiv valley cottages and property location provided by makemytrip is for shiva valley after reaching the place they ask me to come back for 150 meters then we realise this scam. Cottages are not good as expected. If we want anything like general things like daily needed things mainly not available by surroundings if available they charge too much. Even they charge for water bottle while they providing complimentary breakfast. We face a lot of experience in single day but this is not a perfect platform to describe.

The rooms were clean and good as shown in the picture. The bathrooms were old but clean. Food was pathetic. Nothing was there to eat breakfast. And plates where all dirty and not clean. Entrance to the resort was like some cow barn. It was stinky and filthy. Staff were good. They should at-least renovate the hotel entrance gate and parking space so that the guests may feel more welcomed.

Its too bad. Not worth it at all. They charge cab cost too much even the rooms are not clean, washroom is dirty, they don’t provide any toiletries. Bad experience ever.

The mirrors are broken, bathroom doors have no locks, the bedside spot lights are broken. The food arrangements are average. Avoid!

so badly maintained cottages, food they serve is too poor and plates with which they serve are not cleaned properly (greasy) 😕... no lock for bathroom not at all hygienic.... I don't recommend this place to anyone...if you get it for free also dont go 😕😕😕😕

We were 6 girls that went there. I couldn’t even gather the strength to stay there for 1 hour. It was so shady. Please don’t fall for it. We had to find another hotel and we burned our money.

It was a bad experience, rooms are in pathetic condition, service not at all good, food was average. I did have high expectations. But it turned out to be a complete disappointment.

I didn't stayed there. My booking was done and when i visited there the property was awful. Its totally different from what you see in the pictures. I paid the amount in advance and cancel-led the booking when i visited the property. I didn't even checked in looking at this property. Not even getting my refund now. I preferred to pay somewhere else rather than staying at that awful property.

So so. Room was not that good not that bad. Tv is only for show even after telling repeatedly the receptionist didnot do the recharge.

Ambiance,Food, Service, Staff etc etc was Awesome. Outside eating is creating disturbances by Cats, humbly requesting to resolve that issue

ok this property located was so superb area,road was so bad but for advantures it's good , hotel looks so so amazing...and the good part of this hotel is anjuna beach was so near so aesa lagta tha ki hamara private beach ho ...beach location oh god! so superb 😍...hotel staff was friendly....rooms cleaning good and yeah ,food of hotel is so yummy...u have to stay once at this hotel it was superb experience.
