The view from the bungalow that i booked was good, however the overall room and facilities were not value for money - the high tariffs should come with a lot more comfort and services. The ac in the bungalow was not functioning well, it kept going off on its own, there is no exhaust in the bathroom, no way to keep your valuables inside the room, no intercom or telephone inside the room to be able to call for any service (housekeeping, room service etc)

Great sea view. Good food. Bad staff.
couplePros: 1. The sea view from their restaurant shack is great. 2. Though menu is limited, food is quite tasty (but only paid food). Cons: 1. Room was quite bad despite us buying the most expensive one. Furniture is old and broken. 2. Free breakfast is bad, bland and not tasty despite restaurant serving really good paid food. 3. Reception guy takes his own comission when you ask for cab despite a taxi stand being right outside. Taxi stand says 2300, reception guy says 2800 for same car. 4. If you need wifi, it's unreliable and network coverage is very bad.

coupleThis hotel is just not worth per night property, check in experience was similar to a oyo, staff lacks soft skills, room quality is poor, they dont include mineral water in room tariff, overpriced and service levels of a 1 star hotel. Access to the beach is the only benefit which most hotels in the same price denomination may offer.

couplePros i stayed at the anahata retreat in private garden access room rooms are spacious enough with a small private area the property is sea facing and in a wonderful location good breakfast option at the restaurant and even other lunch/dinner options are good cons no dedicated vehicle parking for the property throughout the day multiple power disruptions. The power comes back but it just happens multiple times and the ac has to be switched on every time overall very good experience and i will definitely come back to this property

From property listings it seems to be a vast resort sort but it's not huge at all and rooms are very small. The food is good in their restaurant. Hygiene and safety standards are all fine in the hotel but our room had dampness in walls in bedroom, washroom.

Overall the location is very nice. But due to rains our whole room was drenched in water and there was no water in the washroom and even the lights went off for the whole day the service was also poor and staff were least bothered about the issues we were facing (like water getting accumulated in our room)
