Cola Beach Sunset Bay

We were a group of 6 adults and one child The access road is terrible but it was made up by the resort location, food and accommodation are excellent, recommend vickson the manager and Aman the help .

Great place, close to nature. If you want to stay which is calm, peaceful and away from city hustles, thin this is the one. The beach is beautiful too. But the only thing to note is that as its situated in kinda secluded place, roads leading to the resort are difficult to drive. Otherwise the staffs are helpful and food is quite good too.

Very quiet, beautiful spot. Bed was super comfy and good shower. Our hut was right on the beach and we could hear the waves at night. A good range of tasty food and drink options including reasonably very priced wine. Safe place to swim, but with rocks is easier to swim at high tide. Just a ten minute walk to main cola beach and about and hour and a half to agonda town - difficult and expensive to get taxis if you have luggage but worth it when you get there! overall, this was one of the most calming and romantic stays we have ever had!

Pros: The resort location was awesome.. we really enjoyed the beach front hut the manager gave us.. all night and day sea wave sounds were so calming.. Food here tasted good too.. we loved veg triple rice. The room had good basic amenities hot n cold water, towels, soup, hand wash, toilet paper, pillows n blankets, clean bed sheets. The manager let us keep our trolley bag after checkout till evening so we could roam luggage free.. Also they allowed us to use a common toilet and washroom for bathing, outside seating area, hammocks, beach beds till we left the resort after checkout. Cons: Road to the resort was not well maintained.. muddy Rocky road .. it can be dangerous. Food was expensive and some dishes were not as they were supposed to be.. Cream of Mushroom soup was too watery.. veg crispy was literally vegetable pakoda 😂.. I am sure they would know how to cook local dishes very well.. we didn't try any local dishes.. The room was full of insects.. bed bugs might also be there (gave me rashes) .. rat poop was falling from the roof sometimes.. Drinking Water was not provided to us free of cost.. (even basic 2 bisleri bottles of 1 liter each). obviously guests will expect that much.

I have booked it based on it's location and i'm satisfied with it but in terms of amenities things could have been better like a kettle in the room, hot water supply especially i found it hard since i have travel-led with infant

Place is quiet, well serviced, good restaurant. Only problem of unavailability of hot shower

It was merely a hut and not a wooden cottage. The condition was very poor. There is no ac. Wi-fi connection is poor. They don’t have a landline within the hut so you have to go to the caretakers yourself. You do not get a single bar of network in a radius of 4 km so you can’t reach out to your family or use map if you step out of your hut. It’s so secluded that it becomes a bit spooky at night and if you are reaching the stay at night for the very first time you will be scared because there are no sign boards, no lights. It’s just jungle on a very muddy, rocky and steep path.

Property is very nice with scenic beauty of little cola beach view. The staff is very cooperative and prompt in their services. Receptionist chamisa fernandes, nez, anju everyone. One concern is the location is difficult to reach as no internet or mobile network in that particular area. Roads in between private property are not maintained and only local taxi drivers are available who are charging like anything beyond practical affordable prices. In this case resorts must come with some pickup and drop facilities. Rest everything was at its best.

Food was ok. View was good. The road was muddy and risky while driving to the hotel. Very narrow road no lights. Food was ok.

the team at cola beach sunset bay was warm and welcoming. we traveled with our 7 month baby and the team ensured we have everything at our disposal. Food was good. the staff was friendly and took good care of everything we needed.

I had a wonderful experience at the sunset bay. The staff at this property are all great!

Room don’t have air conditioning. We feel more heat there. And low voltage of electricity. Room was good but they gave to develop more.

Thinks i like 1) host naz took proper care of us 2) food was tasty 3) location was awesome thinks i don't like 1) no near by place for purchasing any eatry 2) stopper of both room and bathroom was not working 3) no complimentary mineral water. Every-time you have to purchase a bottle 4) no cupboards or door hangers.

Staffs are very good. It's a private beach. Couple friendly.

Food and breakfast is awesome test but location is very hard and manager nature is not good because all charge is very high and room and bathroom is not cleaning location is very poor vetar is good nature breakfast is not unlimited.

Fantastic location with beautiful surroundings and views. The property was well maintained with cozy rooms and basic amenities. I appreciate the service of the caretaker. He managed hot water for us. Highly recommendable property.

Beautiful, peaceful and exclusive. We stayed in a tent which was quite a unique experience for us- it overlooked the sea. The place is surrounded with greenery all around. Loved the location and the true to its name, you get the best view of the sunset. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. We loved all the food preparation, particularly the fish and local delicacies. We enjoyed long walks, hiking along the nearby hills. One has to be dependent on wifi networks since the mobile network coverage is quite poor. Overall, a great value for your spend. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is an extremely good option. Highly recommend.
