Review Of View Point Lodge

Clean and very humble staff. Room is very clean. The view from the room is awesome. Just loved the stay.

The stay was good, room was clean and staff was very courteous. Although you would say that the price of breakfast was quite exorbitant. Other than that, we had a good time at this hotel. It's close to the tiger's nest.

Location- Far from the city in the middle of nowhere. Price- Can be illogically high during season. Food- Overpriced and the food can be undercooked or over salty or overcooked. Service- The staff do try to help but the owner seem only to make most money using whatever rooms he had. Since he had one mountain. View- Room booked when we reached he placed us in a small compact room for one day. Also they don't have lodging for driver which was quite an issue. PS- They don't include tea in the complimentary breakfast.

The Lodge location is very good and service also. Food is very good but costly.

Good place to stay. Good view from room. Only concern limited complementary breakfast i.e. one plate per person.

A nice lodge with a beautiful scenic beauty. The breakfast option is limited as is the other food options. Wifi hotspots are unavailable and after regular requests was provided.

The hotel is far from main City, near tiger nest. But those who want a quite place, it will be great for them. Had a pleasant stay there. Beautiful View from rooms. Hotel is clean and neat with all amenities. Recommended.

Nice cozy and cleanly place for our stay in Bhutan. Very helpful staff.

Unhygienic rooms, full of flies and mosquitoes, stinky bathrooms, no shops nearby, staff minimal (only 2 or 3). Wi-Fi has no internet and TV has bad picture ( bad signal, I guess), and put up so high near ceiling! Linens are unclean and location 6 km from Paro Town. Reception counter not readily visible and always closed. Not recommended.

We booked this room based on the pictures shown, as they said the rooms had good view to the mountains. This was the worst decision we took. In our entire Bhutan trip, this was the worst stay we had. Not to speak about the cleanliness and facilities. The bathrooms were stingy, and the bed sheets appeared to have used/ not washed at all. It was full of stains. The bathroom flush wasn't working. The kettle kept in the room was all rusted and not clean. The milk powder and tea bags kept were all expired ones or packets were puffed. Not even a bottle of water was kept in the room. Rooms were full of flies and mosquitoes. Overall it was a very stressful situation. To speak about the amenities. It was said that we get the wifi and breakfast, the wifi was not given at all. First day they gave for few hours post which they said they have shut down the router as it is 10:00 PM, to be noted, that's the only time we reach room after sight seeing. The next 2 days they said wifi modem is under maintenance and could not be given, this was based on the discussion with the manager. However service boys were really good and helpful. When we questioned about wifi, they were initially ok, then they said we will have to speak with the manager. For breakfast, we just get any of these - allo paratha (1), bread toast, bread omlet or masala omlet. These are served with out water or tea. If we have to get anything extra , even an omlet costs extra.

Hotel is conveniently located very near to tigers nest trail but is very far from Paro main Town. Rooms are decent and fairly large with mountain view but there are too many flies in and around. Hotel has room service and cost of food is also decent. Overall an oasis stay for a night.

If possible they must do something for flies. Because once you open windows then many flies enter your room and it's frustrating.

Food was good, but sue to shortage of staff they took much time for preparation of food. There was no arrangement for drivers stay.

Room was big, but bathroom was smelling. Cot, bed and heater was good. Breakfast heavy boring, same in all days. Like a Lodge, suitable for only one night stay.

Very nice hotel. Calm environment. Very friendly staff.

After paying online and getting confirmed voucher when we reached Paro there was no room available and when we told them that we have already paid then after talking to them for hours we were sent to a farm house to stay. So I request everyone not to book through make my trip

Very good location away from the Town with calm and serene views Around. The food was really good. The staff was sweet and courteous too. Totally loved it

It was the worse hotel I have ever stayed, water problem, found hair on food, number of house flies, charged expensive cost per one paratha, I strictly don't recommend this hotel.
