Review Of Hotel Dorjiling

The hotel did not have an elevator in this day and age, the room was cold and only had a small electric heater which was hardly enough to keep our feet warm! The room had a prehistoric television set (not LED or LCD the ancient box type) that too with horrible picture quality! The WiFi was weak, there was no water at night on asking the staff they said that the tank was empty and they had just turned on the pump! They could not even book us a cab to the airport! In short this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The only positive point was the location, which was in the main town of Paro. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

It is a terrible hotel, no water in wash room, no food to eat in night as restaurant non functional.
It was a terrible hotel, no water in wash room. We had to check out the next day due to this while i paid for two day. It was non refundable and i had no choice to loose my money for second day. You can check from hotel, we stayed only one night.

Darkly painted rooms gave a gloomy atmosphere. Also finishing was lacking in. Toilet seats was twisted. Cupboard was not properly fitted. Hence overall room was just about good.

Well located within the city, further makes it easier also to visit famous point Tigers Nest Monastery.

Hotel is well location in centre of Paro town. But rooms are old and not clean.

This place is located in the city. Market is easily accessible and one can enjoy roaming their evening through the market. We stayed here for two nights. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. The room was very spacious, just fab. Bathroom was good. There is Wi-Fi as well in the hotel. And it worked well. Avoid taking meal in restaurant.

Great location with great view from room no 201. Also quality of food supplied had a value for money in all aspect.

Location is good, inside market area. Staffs are well mannered. You need to order prior to getting food. Nonveg food was not available when we asked. We had booked 4 deluxe double bedrooms. Rooms were big and clean with sufficient windows.
A carpet should have been there. Drinking with provided was not packaged. Options for meals was inadequate.
No lift is there, so going upstairs to 3rd or 4th floor with bags was difficult.
