Central Museum/ Indore Museum- Also referred to as the Indore Museum, this museum is considered as one of the most renowned buildings in the city. Chhatris- Rich Maratha architectural style is reflected in the beautiful chhatris located in the city. These chhatris were constructed in the memory of the rulers of the city.

Lal Baag Palace- Another stunning building located in Indore, Laal Bagh Palace is situated on the outskirts of the city on the banks of River Khan. Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar built this palace.

Kanch Mandir- This is a truly spectacular temple that is built using mirrors and glass. This temple was built by Sir Hukamchand Seth, also popular as the “Cotton King” in the early 20th century.

Rajwada- This popular palace belongs to the Holkars, the erstwhile rulers of Indore. Located in the main square, it was built almost 200 years before. The palace is the perfect example of the luxury and grandeur of the Holkar rulers.

Falling in Ratlam Division, there is a wide network of train network with a railway station located in Indore that connects this city with other cities in the state and country. Reliable and trustworthy state operated and private bus services are available to and fro from the city. Private taxis and cabs are also available.

Indore experiences extreme climate, hence it is best to plan a visit during the onset of winters, that is, from October till March.
