Day 1
New Delhi - Shimla (370 km/9-10 hrs)
Ex Delhi: All guests are requested to report at given location mentioned in the voucher, New Delhi latest by 0900 hours. In case of any delay, guest will have to make their own transport arrangements to Shimla at an extra cost.
Today you drive from Delhi to Shimla, a very popular holiday-retreat is well-known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon. It is Himachal’s capital is strung with steep forested hillsides falling away in all directions and it echoes its past role in British India.
On your way, visit Pinjore Gardens, also known as Yadavindra Gardens where you could stroll along the stretch of water fountains, which are heavily lined with cypress, palm trees and flowerbeds. You could also choose to have lunch (own expense).
Then, proceed for Shimla and after the check-in formalities, you can relax and enjoy the basic amenities and services of the hotel; later, enjoy a delectable dinner at the hotel.

Day 2
Shimla
After breakfast, you would be picked up from the hotel’s lobby for a half-day excursion to Kufri – a small picturesque hill station at the foothills of Himalayas and is known for its pleasing climate and scenic beauty. It has a prime attraction with exquisite nature parks and the duration of the transfer would be around 1 hour.
Visit the Indira Bungalow which provides panoramic views of the location. Next, head up to the Himalayan Zoo which is home to birds and animals, like rare antelopes, deer, bears and snow leopards. It is adorned with the optimum forestation, which contributes substantially to the breath-taking scenery. You could also take a hike or a pony (own expense) up to Mashu Peak, which is the highest peak in the Kufri.
Later, in the afternoon, return to Shimla and buzzing with activity throughout the day, so Mall Road would be the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Its main attraction includes Shimla Church, contains some moving Raj-era memorials and typical Victorian stained glasses. Next, visit the Scandal Point and the Gaiety Theatre – a lovely Victorian theatre that is splendidly restored. Also visit the Town Hall which is at the centre and is oddly reminiscent of the mansion in Hammer Horror films. You may also indulge in some shopping at the Mall Road visit Shimla wax museum (tickets complimentary). Later, return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and for an overnight stay.
Afternoon: Guests will be dropped at the Shimla Mall road to explore by themselves. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping.
Evening, the guests shall be transferred to their respective hotels for overnight stay. Dinner shall be at the hotel.
Note: Pony ride at Kufri are on direct payment basis.
Day 3
Arrival in Manali | Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner
After a scrumptious breakfast, you would check-out from the hotel and depart for Manali, where you would be able to enjoy the mountain valleys and the scenic beauty of the place. The duration of the transfer would be around 8-10 hours. You would drive past Beas-Sutlej Link project, Pandoh Dam & Kullu Valley.
The Pandoh Dam is situated on the river Beas and the site is a paradise to view the mighty Himalayan ranges; Kullu Valley - known as the ‘Valley of Gods’ and it is surrounded with cluster of beautiful valleys. The main attractions of this valley are the snow-clad mountains towering over Deodar jungles, rivers and apple orchards. On your way, you would have a delicious lunch (own expense).
Next, you would reach Manali, which would help you experience high peaks in the beautiful green valley of the Beas River with mountain adventures beckoning from all directions.
Later, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the basic amenities at the hotel and enjoy a delectable dinner with a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 4
Sightseeing In Manali | Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, enjoy adventure activities like river crossing, rappelling, Archery, rifle shooting and Burma bridge at the camp.
Complimentary lunch shall be served at the camp site.
Post lunch, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Manali. Visit Vashishtha Kund & Hidimba Temple.
Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.
Day 5
Manali & Excursion to Solang Valley | Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner
Manali offers you the chance to experience a whole new world and a rejuvenating holiday, where in you could explore and enjoy the spirit of Manali.
After an early breakfast, you would be picked up from the hotel’s lobby for a half-day excursion to Solang valley or Snow Point. The Solang Valley – situated between Beas Kund and Solang village. It is particularly a pictorial spot presenting awesome scenery of snow clad mountains and glaciers. This place is also known for adventurous sports like parachuting, skating/skiing, zorbing and paragliding (own expense).
(In the evening, you would return back to the hotel and have a delectable dinner with a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar | Overnight in Houseboat
Upon your arrival in Srinagar, get a transfer to your Houseboat. Have lunch at the Houseboat (depends on arrival time) and enjoy an evening Shikara ride at the Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 2
Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, check out of the houseboat at Srinagar and proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is located at an average elevation of 2,690 m (8,825 ft). Spend the day witnessing the picturesque locales like the Golf Course (Golf kit and caddy charges optional & extra). Also take the exhilarating cable car ride to Khilanmarg Snow Point (Gondola ride up to Khilanmarg is not included in the itinerary and Gondola ride strongly depends on weather conditions) Lunch will be served at the Gulmarg Hotel. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3
Gulmarg to Pahalgam
After breakfast, check out of the hotel at Gulmarg and proceed to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is in Anantnag District. It is a popular tourist destination, and every year, many tourists visit it. Pahalgam has an average elevation of 8989 feet. The town of Pahalgam (Village of Shepherds) offers breath-taking views. One can just relax in the hotels or enjoy water rafting etc. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus. Lunch and Dinner at hotel.
Day 4
Local Sightseeing in Pahalgam
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Lunch will be served at the Pahalgam Hotel. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. Later, enjoy the evening at leisure. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5
Pahalgam to Srinagar

After buffet breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing tour of Srinagar covering places such as the Grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh), Pari Mahal & the Shankaracharya Temple. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Departure
After buffet breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar airport. Due to the extremely strict security measures at the airport during peak season, guests are requested to leave for the airport at least 4 hours prior to departure. We are forced to enforce this rule as there are 4 security barriers to pass before reaching the airport. Also, there are regular traffic jams for a couple of kilometers outside the airport.

Day 1
Arrive at the Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok
After reaching the Bagdogra Airport, you would be greeted by MakeMyTrip representative and then head to the hotel in Gangtok. The pleasant drive should take around 4 hours.
After reaching Gangtok, you would check-in at the hotel and then, spend the rest of the day at leisure. You could choose to explore the city on your own in the evening, or you can choose to spend the time enjoying the view of the valley from the hotel. For those wishing to know if luck favours them, a visit to the Casino (own expense) can be an exciting way to enjoy your evening, before ending the long day with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Gangtok
After enjoying the breakfast at the hotel, you would be picked up from the hotel at around 9 am and leave for a visit to the Changu Lake.
The lake derives its waters from melting snow of the mountains, a beautiful sight to witness. Earlier, the lamas used to study the colour of water and predict the future, a darker colour would indicate troublesome time in the coming year. Despite the colour that flows in the lake on your visit, the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains would surely leave a lasting impression.
You would also be visiting the Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to ‘Baba Harbhajan Singh’, a soldier of the Indian Army. He died in 1968 and the shrine was made to honour his wishes (he requested one of his friends in the dreams, for a Samadhi to be made for him). It is also believed that he guards the international boundary between India and China, and protects the people. Many people also hold the belief that the place has a healing spirit, and a bottle of water left there, could cure illness after consumption.
After returning back to Gangtok, you could explore the town and shop at the local market on your own.
Later, return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3
Gangtok - lachung
Think snow-covered mountains surrounded by the unperturbed serene natural beauty is a picture of Lachung. It is considered as a perfect break from the hectic city life. After breakfast, you would be picked-up form the hotel at 9 am and would be driven to Lachung. The uphill 7 hour journey takes you to the height of 8610 ft.
Before leaving Gangtok you would stop at the Tashi View Point, to enjoy the glorious view of the mountains and the city.
On your way to Lachung, you would stop at Kabi Longstok which holds historic significance in building the friendly relations between Lepcha people and the Bhutia people. It has established the foundation of the state that is the present day Sikkim. Here, you could soak up the natural beauty of the area. You would also visit the Singhik View Point, for stunning views of Kanchenjunga and Mt Siniolchu. The lush green mountains and the beautiful Teesta River, is the perfect view point to capture it in the memory forever.
After reaching the hotel in Lachung, spend the evening by relaxing at the hotel.
Enjoy dinner and a comfortable stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Yumthang from Lachung - Gangtok
After a hearty breakfast, you would proceed for a half-day excursion to Yumthang Valley. You would leave from the hotel at around 9 am, and it would take around 1.5 hours to travel from Lachung to Yumthang. Yumthang Valley is famous for the beautiful flowers beds, especially the Rhododendron flowers, which are available in full bloom and in a variety of colours between the months of March to May. The valley also provides the glorious view of the mountains and the river.
You would also be visiting the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary, where you would find typical Himalayan flowers, hot springs and snow covered mountains.
After lunch, you would be leaving Lachung for Gangtok. En route make a stop at Bhim Nala Water Fall and at Twin Water Fall. The Bhim Nala is a huge waterfall, whose volume is impressive especially during the monsoon.
In the evening, you would return to Gangtok and check-in at the hotel, and you would have rest of the evening at leisure. You would go for a Ropeway Ride and get a bird’s-eye view of the city. Relish the dinner before retiring to the bed.
Day 5
Gangtok - Darjeeling
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you would be picked up from the hotel at around 9 am to go on a half-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. You would be visiting the Do-Drul Chorten Stupa which was built in 1946, and happens to be one of the biggest stupa in Sikkim. It is also surrounded by 108 prayer wheels that are inscribed with Tibetan mantras. Then, you would be visiting the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology that researches the religion, history, language, art and culture of Tibet and Tibetans.
The culture of any place is clearly visible in its art and handicraft. The Cottage Industry in Gangtok is no exception. This is the place to pick-up souvenirs and mementos for your home. You would also visit the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handlooms, which was established in 1957 to help and promote Sikkim handicrafts.
After taking in the sights of Gangtok, you would leave the city in the afternoon and head to one of the most popular towns in North-East, Darjeeling. The tea gardens, tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track add to the charm of the hill station. The journey should take around 5 hours to reach the destination.
After the check-in formalities, you have the evening at leisure, where you can relax and enjoy at the hotel or you can explore Darjeeling through a horse ride (own expense). End the day with a delicious dinner as you settle in the hotel.
Day 6
Darjeeling
Start your day early (around 4AM - 5AM), and head for a visit to the Tiger Hill to witness the glorious Himalayan at day break. The sunrise against the highest peak in India is a sight to behold.
On your return from Tiger Hill, you would stop at the Ghoom Monastery. The next place to explore would be the Batasia Loop to get a 360 degree view of Darjeeling's landscape.
After this, you would return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast and prepare yourself for the city tour that would begin at around 10 am. You would be visiting the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. The museum on the premises shows account and mountaineering artefacts.
Followed by a visit to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and then the Tibetan Refugee Centre, established for the re-habitation of the Tibetan refugees. Traditional Tibetan handicrafts especially, carpets are made here and are widely popular and exported all over the world. You would later visit the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. The Japanese Buddhist temple shows the avatars of Lord Buddha.
Any visit to Darjeeling would be incomplete without going to a tea estate so, visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate. The estate offers visitors a glimpse of the fascinating process of manufacturing tea at a place that was established way back in 1854.
Later return to the hotel after an eventful day, for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Darjeeling - Bagdogra (90 kilometres| 3 hours)
After a hearty breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and travel to the Bagdogra Airport for your journey back home. It would take you around 3.5 hours to reach the airport.

Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar
On arrival, you will be welcomed by a MakeMyTrip representative (outside the airport) who will transfer you to Jetty at Dal lake. Upon arrival at the Jetty, transfer to your houseboat and check in. Enjoy lunch/Evening snacks (depending on your arrival time) on the houseboat. Enjoy 1 hour shikara ride in the evening. After that enjoy Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.
Day 2
Srinagar - Sonmarg (82 Kms/3-4 Hrs)
After breakfast, check-out from your houseboat and proceed towards Sonmarg.
Sonmarg or Sonamarg which means ‘meadow of gold’ is a popular tourist destination situated at an altitude of 2740 meters above sea level, 82 km north-east of Srinagar.
Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a delicious, hot lunch.
The drive to Sonamarg is through yet another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir, and you will come across Sindh Nallah. The Sindh nallah is the largest tributary of the Indus River in the valley of Kashmir. The Sindh meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer. One can enjoy sightseeing to Thajiwas Glacier or other sightseeing points (on direct payment).
Enjoy your evening at leisure and soak in the breathtaking views from your resort.
After your dinner, have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Sonmarg - Pahalgam (152 kms | 5-6 hours)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel at Sonamarg and proceed to Pahalgam and en-route visit Avantipur Ruins. (In order to avoid paying for food by ordering room service on your own, it is recommended to leave from Sonamarg at around 8 AM to reach Pahalgam before lunch time.)
Check-in at the hotel and enjoy your lunch. In the evening, get a transfer to the main market at 4.30 PM and drop to hotel at 6.30 PM from market. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
Important Note: In places like Pahalgam, new construction is banned to save ecology. In fact, it is so strict in Pahalgam that older hotels cannot be renovated or painted too. Thus many hotels have challenges with the interiors too.
Day 4
Pahalgam | Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Lunch will be served at the Pahalgam Hotel. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. Later, enjoy the evening at leisure. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5
Pahalgam - Srinagar (96 kms | 3 hours)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Pahalgam and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival, begin your excursion to Shankaracharya Hill Temple and Grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh). Lunch will be served at your hotel in Srinagar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6
Srinagar - Gulmarg Excursion (52 kms |2-3 hours one way)
After early breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg for an excursion.
Explore Gulmarg on your own by doing sightseeing the picturesque locales like the Golf Course (Golf kit and caddy charges optional & extra). Also take the exhilarating cable car ride to Khilanmarg Snow Point.
(Pony owners have a strong hold in Gulmarg and Pahalgam and restrict our vehicles travelling in these two villages. Guests have to listen to the instructions of the Tour Managers and/or local guides in dealing with the locals.)
Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7
Departure from Srinagar (By Flight) to Delhi
After buffet breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to board your flight for respective hub. Due to the extremely strict security measures at the airport during peak season, guests are requested to leave for the airport at least 4 hours prior to departure. We are forced to enforce this rule as there are 4 security barriers to pass before reaching the airport. Also, there are regular traffic jams for a couple of kilometers outside the airport.

Day 1
Arrival in Leh
If you are planning to have an anti-altitude pill before travel such as Diamox, then we strongly recommend consulting an experienced doctor before you have it.
In the morning, board your flight for Leh.
On arrival, a MakeMyTrip representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Leh.
The rest of the day will be for you to relax and acclimatize.
(Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 mtrs approximately from 200 mtrs in just one hour’s time, you may be excited and would want to explore everything on your very first day. However, it is your body which needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization.)
Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2
Leh | Monastery Tour
After a delicious breakfast in the morning, drive to Hemis Monastery.
Drive to Thiksey Monastery for a visit.
After these visits, return to Leh and you will be dropped at Leh Market / hotel for Lunch (on direct payment basis).
Post lunch, you will leave for the sightseeing of Shanti Stupa.
Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass: 140 Km / 5 -6 Hours
Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla Pass.
Khardung la Pass (18,380ft above sea level): It is not very often that one gets to drive on a road at an altitude of 18,380 feet. That is where Khardungla Pass, meaning the ‘Pass of Lower Castle,’ is located on the way from Leh to the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world as signs put up by the Border Roads Organization proudly proclaim.
Arrive at Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis).
Nubra Valley: Popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, Nubra valley offers a graceful view of yellow and pink wild roses in summer and a carpet of wild lavender in the post-monsoon season. You will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactrian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes.
Thereafter, check in at Swiss comfortable Camp or Hotel.
The evening is for you to spend at leisure.
Dinner & overnight stay at the camp or hotel.
Day 4
Nubra Vally to Leh Via Khardungla Pass: 140 Kms/ 5 - 6 Hours
Morning after Breakfast proceed for Diskit Monastery.
Diskit Monastery: One of the oldest temples of this area, the temple has a huge idol of Tsong-kha-pa, crowned with a Gelugpa yellow hat. The Diskit Gompa dates back to the 14th century and owes its inception to Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong-kha-pa.
Post the Diskit Monastery, proceed for backward journey to Leh, once again driving via Khardungla pass the World Highest Motorable road.
In the evening, you can explore Leh bazaar for souvenir and some shopping on your own.
Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5
Leh - Pangong Lake (approx. 140 km/ one way)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border. On your way, you will cross Changla Pass, the third highest motorable road in the world.
Pangong Lake: The picturesque lake is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley. a location of several film shootings and known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains, Pangong Lake is a prime tourist attraction. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighbourhood of the famous Chushul Mountains.
In the evening, check-in at your camps in Pangong.
Enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.
Day 6
Pangong Lake to Leh (approx. 140 km/one way)
In the morning have breakfast at your camps in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh.
Upon your arrival in Leh, you may enjoy the evening at leisure.
Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7
Sham Valley Tour
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Sangam (Confluence). On your way, visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Visit Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River.
Magnetic Hill: Can anyone ever imagine the movement of a vehicle up a steep mountain with its engines off? Reach Magnetic Hill to experience this phenomenon which sounds unbelievable.
Gurudwara Pathhar Sahib: Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh on the Leh-Kargil road. The Gurudwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to the Ladakh region, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith.
On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of fame.
Hall of Fame: Hall of Fame in Leh is a must visit for every individual of India. This is constructed by the Indian Army. You will find memorabilia, eminent defence personalities’ biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war and belongings of enemy soldiers found at war site.
Day 8
Departure to Delhi
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight to Delhi. We hope you have a great trip!
