Cherrapunji in Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on the planet and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year. The town of Cherrapunji is nestled in the East Khasi Hills about 50 km southwest of the state's capital, Shillong. Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra or Churra, means "the land of oranges". The cliffs of Cherrapunji also offer stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh.
Visit to Seven Sister Falls,Mawsmai Cave, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, Koh Ram Hoh , eco park.
Drive back to Shillong.

On arrival drive to Nameri / Bhalukpong (265 Kms / 6 Hrs drive)
Nameri National Park (200 sq.km) is located in Sonitpur District at the foothills of eastern Himalayas with the the river Jia Bhoroli flowing
through it. The park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam. Many rare animals inhabit the park and there are more than 376 species of birds
seen here.

Morning at 5:30 am take a walk through Nameri National Park (3 km). It is one of the very few National Parks where you can trek in the park. The trek begins as you embark on a boat to cross the breadth of the Jia Bhoroli river.
Day free for leisure activities like rafting (direct payment basis). Rafting (mild rapids) forms a day long adventure in a raft as you cruise along the waters of Jia Bhoroli river. The 2.5 hrs rafting will acquaint you with numerous birds. Later disembark at bank. Overnight in Nameri.

Transfer to Guwahati
Transfer from Guwahati airport/railway station to hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure.
Day 2
Guwahati - Shillong (100kms/2.5hrs)
Today, after the breakfast leave for the half-day sightseeing in Guwahati visiting Kamakhya temple - The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya an incarnation of Sati. It is on Nilachal hill, says the Shiva Purana, that the yoni or creative organ of Sati fell when Vishnu, in a bid to save the world from the Shiva's tandava nrittya or dance of destruction, cut her dead body into 51 pieces with his suddarshan chakra.
Later, drive to Shillong and en route visit Umium Lake.
Day 3
Cherrapunji Excursion
In the morning have breakfast at the hotel, post which drive to Cherrapunjee.
Cherrapunji in Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on the planet and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year. The town of Cherrapunji is nestled in the East Khasi Hills about 50 km southwest of the state's capital, Shillong. Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra or Churra, means "the land of oranges". The cliffs of Cherrapunji also offer stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh.
Visit to Seven Sister Falls, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, Koh Ram Hoh , eco park.
Drive back to Shillong.
Overnight at Shillong.
Day 4
Shillong - Guwahati (100kms/2.5hrs)
After the Breakfast, proceed for the half-day sightseeing in Shillong including botanical gardens, mini zoo and Shillong Peak. Later, drive from Shillong to Guwahati
Day 5
Transfer to Guwahati Airport
Transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station in time for onward journey.

Day 1
GUWAHATI
On arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you on arrival and transfer to hotel. On the way to hotel
visit Kamakhya temple Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Note: Sightseeing possible if arrival in morning time.
Day 2
GUWAHATI- SHILLONG (130 KMS / 3 ½ hrs drive)
After breakfast transfer to Shillong, on the way visit the beautiful Umium Lake. On arrival in Shillong check into the hotel. After Refreshment,
if time permits we visit Cathedral of Marry and Ward's Lake. In the evening take a walk
around Shillong's famous Police Bazaar. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3
SHILLONG - CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG (70 KMs / 2 hrs-One way)
After breakfast in the morning start for excursion to Cherrapunjee, . On the way visit the famous Elephant
Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird's eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee visit - Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters
Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls. Drive back to Shillong for
Overnight Stay.
Day 4
Shillong - Mwallynong - Shillong (MEGHAYALA)
After breakfast excursion to Mwallynong (100 kms / 3 hrs drive approx).
Mawlynnong village, situated 90 kms ahead of Shillong on the Shillong-Dawki Road, 30 kms from Pynursla, is a village of 75 households
with a population of 400. An idyllic location, this village epitomizes a standard, which all other villages need to aspire to be. Dubbed the
cleanest village in India by Discover India Magazine, the primary Village School till class V boasts of its no dropout record and the village of
90 % literacy. Paved walkways and beautiful flowerbed all along mark the village, with waterfalls, *a living root bridge, hilly rivulets, acacia
plantation and an excellent view of the faraway plains of Bangladesh all contribute to the ambience of this village. Farming of betel nut and
leaves, broomsticks and pepper along with bee rearing are the primary economic activity of this Village and with the village headman
himself taking the responsibility of making visitors comfortable, a day in this village gives an insight into the life of the Khasis, the influence
of the Church and its metamorphosis.
Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay.
