While searching for a good hotel in ahmedabad on make my trip, found this hotel listed. The name says it’s an itc managed welcome group hotel, but did not find any thing of good standard. Parking our car was hell lot of problem and there was no security to assist us park the car properly. Only good thing is that the rooms are big. We checked in around 10pm any they closed the kitchen for dinner at 10:15 only inspite of their time of 10:45. We were very tired after a long journey, did not want to go out and hence had to skip dinner. The staff did not even have the minimum courtesy to offer an alternative. We took a 3 bed room, but the 3rd bed was in a corner and there was no fan or ac. When we requested for a table fan for that area, the staff in the front desk did not show any care or concern and simply said that he can’t do anything. The name says it’s a heritage property, but the washroom etc are of very low standard. The doors make a lot of noise and even don’t close properly. The breakfast is also very average. Also since our flight got delayed, we requested for 2 hours extention of the room. The checkout time is 11am, we requested to allow till 1pm, but again they did accept our request though i understand that they had vacancies as the property was not fully sold out. So that’s our sad experience with this hotel
