I got to know about the place through Make my trip app. The tariff was reasonable for stay of 5 persons. 1. Location: It is located in the interiors and you have to travel 3 km from main road and approximately 1 km mud road. Not difficult to drive. The owner takes you to the homestay via his Jeep. The stay offers terrific view of Sunset and is surrounded by dense plantations and water falls. It is a treat to eyes and lungs. 2. Food: The stay offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. A dedicated chef is available for cooking. We were served with Fulka and veg curry for the dinner. Puttu and kadala curry was served for the breakfast. The food was of authentic Kerala taste. It was tasty and healthy. Since we had been with children, the owner served them with pure fresh cow milk. Tea and coffee were also given during the stay. 3. Plantation tour: It is one of the main attraction of the stay and can be termed as "Paisa vasool". Mr. Rathnakar Nair, spared his time for us and took for the planation tour. He showed us the flora and fauna and explained them beautifully. His energy and passion towards the guests is highly appreciable. He took us to a natural waterfall in his planation and let us play there. He made areca nut cap and temporary tattoo for children which they enjoyed very much. It is a vast estate and you will enjoy spending the time as you can hear the sound of waterfalls throughout. 4. Rooms: The stay offers three rooms, one hall, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and a sit out. The passion of the owner in creating the ambience is clearly visible though the Furnitures and items used for bathroom. Bathrooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable and you will definitely feel relaxed after a nights sleep. 5. Hospitality: Hats off to Mr. Rathnakar for the ambience he has created and the efforts behind this stay. It feels more like a home and he makes you feel very comfortable. He likes to interact with the guests and provides privacy whenever required. They have a great cook and can serve customized orders. Overall it s hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of city. You will definitely enjoy this stay if you love to be amidst nature. You will feel like leaving your home when you checkout!
