Coorg Jungle Camp Backwater Resort

Our stay was not at all good. Firstly, since we booked through MakeMyTrip, they allotted us a basement room with no proper ventilation. I had never opted for such a room, but they said it was “system generated.” When we raised this, the manager showed us other categories, but it was clear that those were of lower price compared to what we had booked. Finally, we had to settle for a room in The Nest building on the 3rd floor. That room too had multiple issues: • No fridge provided. • Bathroom was almost unusable — the commode was blocked and water overflowed. We complained three times, and it was only fixed late at night, disturbing our stay. • The in-room phone was not working. They took it away promising to replace it, but it never came back. Food was also below expectations. Very limited options, average taste, and surprisingly, no Coorg local dishes — which any guest would expect in a property here. The only positive was the location, as the property is next to the backwaters. But beyond that, there was nothing impressive. Also, booking via MakeMyTrip seems to mean being given the least prioritized rooms, which feels very unfair. The Nest building where we stayed was more like a lodge, and with no lift, climbing to the 3rd floor with a small kid was highly inconvenient. Overall: Extremely disappointing experience.

Average stay, View from the resort is good as it’s located next to backwaters , too costly for the rooms and food provided , few items from the breakfast and dinner was good but not many options available , this is very small resort , for the same cost there are many options available if we book ahead, housekeeping were polite and service was on time , but very limited staff. They have a music program in the evenings which is very good , overall we enjoyed the stay but expensive

we had an amazing experience at Jungle Resort. The place was very scenic and calm. You can relax peacefully there. The food was great with many varieties. All the staffs were polite and friendly. I would like to mention the name of the manager Suresh, then the staffs Mahadev and Sachin for their helps. In short, it's a perfect getaway to enjoy nature and relax your mind. Highly recommended

The location was superb with harangi backwater beside and food as well complimentary snacks is usually difference where other hotels usually charge and as it's inside coorg plantation it's quite scenic as well .

This property is in the midst of coffee plantation and a great view of the back water a perfect site for a relaxing holiday. Excellent view from our balcony- we could see the lake and jungle & the sunset / sunrise Property is well maintained, they have a nice Amphitheatre space with a stage adjacent to the backwater that is suitable for conducting corporate events or any other events, the staff was polite, taking care of every request with a smile.. They had a good spread of buffet breakfast and Dinner. Plantation tour which is complementary was excellent one, we will surly visit the property again..

fantastic ambience and location. enjoyed our stay with family. close to Nature. one will forget the rest of the world with the beauty around with view to backwaters. must visit resort in Coorg

The room was good but the services were horrible 1.Room service girl don't know what all things are available for lunch 2.Telephone wasn't working and it was taken long time to rectify so we spoiled our afternoon 3.Live music singer was just horrible 4.Room was beautiful and food was average but morning breakfast was good

The Hotel and facilities were Good but we were cheated and provided standard Room instead of Lake facing (back way water facing) rooms or Cottage-room inspite of paying maximum amount of Rs 25000/- for 2 days whereas we checked at Hotel the per day rates for any type of room was only 7500/- only we requested hotel authorities to change room but they refused to change as it was booked through mmt

The stay was comfortable. The location is very nice. it's situated right beside the Harangoli Dam. The view is spectacular, and the property is well maintained and the staff are very cordial. The food was good and the options were moderate. The property price is on the higher side considering the size of the room and the view from the room.

Located in Forest area. Small property with limited no of rooms and they are expanding. Rooms are decent for a Family stay. Staff were helpful. Needs improvement on food.

Property was nice but the cottage was average with limited recreational activities

Excellent stay. The location is inside a forest and near the waters. It’s a beautiful place for a family vacation. Food was excellent. Other arrangements such as music floor and live light music was good as well. The rooms were well serviced. Must visit.

Food is average but location is awesome, and staffs are good at serving and attending , swimming fool is good place which we can see dam view with good photography. .

The stay experience for the property is good, we had chosen a room with a balcony . are a bit old style furniture of the room could be considered for upgradation. The location was too good had a pass through jungle which was a good experience The buffet was also good , amenities were average as it was under renovation The rest of the service was also good.

Property is very good and food is excellent and the vibe is so good near to nature so much of peace. After a long drive of almost 7 hours when we entered the resort I felt so nice, all my tiredness went away and I started enjoying the nature. sitting outside looking at backwater’s and cool breeze with a sip of tea feels like heaven. Sun rise is so pleasant and small walk at backwaters made my day.

Resort is good and placed in a good location for relaxation.Rooms are okayish with standard facilities can be upgraded we faced difficulty with the key of the room and the exhaust fan was not working due to which bathroom was wet most of the time.Food was really tasty and live music was good.They should not play the bar music and live music together as it causes lot of noise.Location was really good.But kids play area was under renovation so our kid had a little disappointment.

Only location is good but rest all like amenities & services are average. Breakfast is good, dinner is average and snacks are horrible.

they blocked good view early and make money.. they give ground floor even I asked for in one day before.. they told first come first serve basis.. very bad.. not fair.. totally not satisfied
