We specifically chose a resort over a hotel, expecting a better and more relaxing experience, but unfortunately, the services fell short of expectations:
1. Swimming Pool: The pool was not clean and therefore unfit for use. It was quite disappointing for a resort stay.
2. Swimwear Requirement: When we asked to use the pool, we were told we needed to purchase a swimming suit. This was never mentioned beforehand and should have been clearly communicated or offered as a complimentary service.
3. Buffet Mismatch: The booking mentioned buffet availability along with the timings. However, when we arrived, we were informed that no buffet service was available.
4. Missing Complimentary Services: No complimentary drinks or breakfast were provided, which contradicts what was advertised.
5. Washroom Issue: The washroom lacked a shower curtain, causing discomfort and water spillage during use.
6. Overpriced Travel Facility: I used the resort's Dzire car service for a short local trip. The car's AC was not working, yet I was charged ₹2,500 for a single destination. This felt unreasonable and overpriced.
7. Basic Milk Charges: While they provided one glass of plain milk free for my 3-year-old boy, they charged ₹95 for an extra glass, which seemed excessive for such a basic need.
