Traveler safety at The Hosteller, Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh is ZERO.
During my stay on 11th September 2025, I faced abusive, intimidating, and humiliating behavior from the staff. Instead of ensuring guest comfort, they created a situation where I felt unsafe and disrespected.
This experience was not just about poor service – it was a serious safety concern. No guest should have to fear for their dignity or wellbeing while staying at a hospitality property.
A refund does not undo the mental harassment, time wasted, and humiliation I went through. The management has failed to provide a fair resolution or accountability.
⚠️ I strongly warn other travelers: if you value your safety, respect, and peace of mind, avoid this property. Until strict action is taken, The Hosteller, Laxman Jhula is not a safe place for travelers.

No guest should ever have to feel unsafe or disrespected at our property, and we deeply regret that this situation occurred. As soon as the incident was reported, our team immediately took action by supporting you in filing a formal police complaint, terminating the staff member responsible the same day for his misconduct, and processing a full refund of your stay as a gesture of goodwill and regret.
We want to assure all travelers that The Hosteller does not compromise on guest safety, and this was an isolated incident caused by the actions of one individual who is no longer associated with us. At the same time, we wish to clarify that certain allegations in the review, such as The Hosteller serving or selling alcohol in Rishikesh, are factually incorrect, as we have never engaged in such practices and never intend to.
