The hotel location is a bit on a congested road, but is accessible to shops and restaurants nearby. The room we selected was a deluxe room but we were given a super deluxe room which we were not comfortable so we upgraded to Superior room which was as per our expectations. There are no a la carte food options available, only veg and non-veg thali options are available in lunch and dinner. Since we were only guests in the hotel so there were not many options available in breakfast, the same spread in continental was available, though there were different spreads in Indian dishes every day. Food was good in taste and overall service was also good.

This hotel is very subtle - a classy boutique hotel - wooden furniture, wooden flooring - super artistic. The restaurant and Library sections are tastefully decorated - with a perfect confluence of cultural vibes along with a cosy atmosphere. The staff is very polite and helpful. The only thing you have to be mindful off is the narrow approach road (which isn’t too surprising by Shillong standards) - and the strange requirement to keep the keys with the reception every-time you leave the hotel. Besides that, our stay was wonderful - and save for a few minor hiccups like the water running out on the last day due to an absent minded staff member - it was mostly without any incident. The staff is super helpful and polite, and the small footprint of the hotel is misleading - since the actually quality of the architecture and the overall vibe of the place is very zen. I’d strongly recommend this.

I recently stayed at Habitat Shillong Hotel and would like to share my feedback regarding the experience. While the room was decent and the stay overall was satisfactory, I felt that the pricing of night did not equate well with the facilities provided. In particular, there was no provision of complimentary breakfast, which I would have expected at this price point. Additionally, the absence of air-conditioning and limited in-room amenities made the value received feel less than what was charged. Considering these factors, the overall offering seemed fairly basic in comparison to the tariff. I trust you will take this feedback into consideration when evaluating your pricing and service inclusions.

Room was okay, very old fashioned & small. No proper room service. No proper buffet in register.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean with all the amenities kept in place. Only issue was no lift , but thats fine.

Lovely property right next to some of best eateries in Shillong. Highly recommended! Staff were super helpful.

The arrangements were pretty good, but there are some areas for improvement like in room dining has to be allowed, if a client checks in late at night the food was not made and we had to go outside for getting food.

Property needs renovation urgently. Walls are crack ,taps are leaking, TV not working, The price that I paid it's not justifiable for the place. Poor food menu as always. Don't know about the taste. Needs immediate attention on Renovation. It was a beautiful place before..with the old and vintage look. That charm is lost. this is not my 1st stay I have stayed here atleast 4-5time but this time it was disappointing because condition of the property. kudos to the Housekeeping team and other staff who are holding the property.

The stay seemed good but didnt like the hospitality of the staff secondly the time for checkout was an issue for them to not even hold for 10 min more seemede too weird and i shall not recommend anyone

We traveled as family to shillong and our stay at the habitat shillong was wonderful, the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Especially mr. Alfred and miss. Stephanie were kind enough to help us to arrange vehicles for travel and related activities. The hotel is very beautiful and cottage core. Rooms are beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are clean. The cherry on the top is the floors are marvelously decorated, you could click a lot of pictures. We didn’t explore the food options. We had an extremely enjoyable experience at the habitat shillong, we will definitely come visit again.

Comfortable stay. Food can be improved further. Beautifully done property from inside. Reaching the hotel is difficult due to its location inside small lanes, but google helps.
