As regards, steps you mentioned in your review, we are to say that it is common in the hill station and clearly mentioned in our website. it is just 2-3 minutes distance from the roadside. We always concerned about the facilities in the property. You may agree that view is open from balcony, sun rising and rooms are spacious. Thanks.

Awesome stay and vie
familyThis stay is good, with both good rooms and the best scenic view from the balcony (both normal and sunrise views are awesome). The caretaker and the owner both are very nice people. You would enjoy good food on request and kadak chai, specially. To reach the hotel you have to take a 30 feet high stairs and go downstairs and come up. But to have such a good stay and a good view, this much exercise is nothing. Hope you have a great stay here!

familyVery good stay. You'll enjoy a very good scenic view from the balcony and the rooms are also good. Cheaper compared to others. The attendant is also a very humble person, who can make food for you. He prepares good food, really. One drawback of the hotel is, to reach the hotel you need to go downstairs about 30 feet, and to come up the road you need to take the same stairs and come up 30 feet every time. On request, you can use the lift from the neighbouring hotel. But the view from the hotel is eternal! trust me. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Omfortable stay with excellent facilities
I had a very comfortable experience. The room was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel had all the necessary facilities. The staff was very polite and helpful, always ready to assist. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great choice, and i would recommend it for a pleasant stay.

Poor Stay
I booked hotel captain B&B on dated 22nd from 23rd to 25th December 2023 and paid the full amount. When we reach hotel in Shimla we observed that there are so many risky stairs and the senior citizens can not reach the hotel and even children's can't walk on risky stairs, so we have not checked in the hotel because we can't go in and come out for 3 days on risky stairs .

Disappointing stay: location, staff, and amenities concerns
The location of the property was very bad and the staff was also not behaving well, forget about the community because there were no amenities. There was no facility available for the driver and no parking facility was also available. The rooms were also very dirty and somehow we had to spend the night there. There was no room available similar to the one shown in the photo. I advise you to check the location and room before booking here.

Beautiful stay
Most cooperative staff and awesome peopl i recently stayed at the grandview hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was spacious and well-appointed, offering a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to popular attractions and transportation. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The facilities, including the gym and pool, were well-maintained and enjoyable. Overall, my stay at the grandview hotel was exceptional, and i highly recommend it for anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience.

Dear singha, reference your observations about your stay in the captain, we always welcome the observations/suggestions of guests but in this case we totally disagree with the observations putforth. You have not pointed out about any issues referred to in the review during your stay, in case, it is pointed out during your stay, these have been resolved there and than. Both were very minor issues. And heaters are provided on request on some terms and conditions and we are very particular about food served in the property. I have enquired from my staff and they have categorically recorded that you have not pointed out during your stay.

Average stay
Pros - owner is very gentle and helpful. Cons- very far from mall road, not easy to get the transport to mall road. There are at least 50+ stairs which you need to climb every time if you want to come to main road. Trust me its not easy task. If you have aged people with you then ignore this hotel. Average food, normal price. I have asked for warm water to drink and the helper from hotel given me tap water from geyser which upset the stomach for all us including my kids.

We always try to resolve any issue raised by the guest during his stay which is our fundamental principle. As regards, stairs, it is well mentioned in our website and going up and down is common in all hilly stations. I inquired about your observations regarding food and water from the staff, you never told them abut these during your stay.
