We met the caretaker of the resort at the ooty town before we reached the location. From the time we met him, i tell you this guy was not making sense of what he was communicating. The travel-ling group felt that he was not in his normal condition maybe intoxicated (though we were not sure) and top of that he wanted us to pick-up another guy in our private vehicle when we were about to reach ooty and to our surprise he had a two wheeler with him. For our own safety purpose and the unpleasant experience we had with him in ooty, we decided not to go to the resort. I had to book another hotel during new year eve and fortunately i manage to get one and requested vista rooms for refund / voucher so that i can be compensated. They denied stating that everything was okay at the resort. Please explain me, if everything was okay then why i had to book rooms again on the same checkin date with another hotel? spending good amount due last moment booking at new year eve. My honest suggestion to my fellow mm t users, please please check the reviews and get a decent hotel at the ooty main town instead of the fancy advertisement. Btw, get your own food from 10kms if you want to stay there. I have told the vista guys, that i’m putting this review as i went through the unnecessary unpleasant experience during my vacation.
