Poor Rooms

Solang valley resort has fantastic location , I think the best in Manali as it’s the last major resort that is closer to Atal tunnel , views are fantastic and it has beautiful access to river and yoh can see beautiful mountains , I think for that this hotel if refurbished can be the best in town , now while location is so good the resort maintenance is quite bad , mattresses were dirty and torn , especially extra matteress, the room cleaning was not upto the mark with stains or recent polish on the floor , shower weren’t easy to use , towels were good , this was like 3 star property maintenance 5 star location , 4 star food , servcie guys were kind so all in all not value for money but not too bad

Generally a very average property and overrated. Nothing deserves special mention. I likely would go back or recommend it to anyone

Front desk needs early morning efficient staff. We asked already called 30 min before checkout and told them to keep our bill ready

Reaching solang valley resort is a difficult thing but once you reach there it’s heaven. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, you get a nice view anywhere you look. We had a fabulous time at the resort. The room was spacious, neat and well ventilated. Th food was simple yet tasty. The staff was courteous and helpful. Few things need to be modernised and i am sure they will work on it. Overall stay was comfortable, relaxing and memorable.

Its a 3 star place but misleading as a 5 star. The indoor games, outdoor games facilities are not in good condition. I got unnecessary calls asking for spa, asking dinner (at 11 pm, some wrong calls. Except the location, rest of the stay was not a great experience. For the same price, the itc hotel nearby are better.

Could not sleep full night, no ventilation, suffocation in room, request to staff for change the room but was not any solution.

Excellent location, delicious food, nice hospitality, you don’t need to go outside for awesome views. Would like to come back again.

Solang valley resort is a good place to stay specially if you have kids. Rooms are spacious and clean. They have maintained a nice lawn and mountain view adds a cherry on top.

The room was not up to the mark it smelled of paint, the lock was broken, but the food and the evening live singing was good with good space for the family to chill but the room was way too high than what was provided

If u want a holidays trip for faimly, i persnaly advice to stay at slong valley resort, due to one of the best hotel in manali vally, specially faimly or kids, several types fun are available hare, your faimly each and every moments to injoy.

Wonderful scenic beauty. Very cooperative staff. Breakfast buffet had lot of variety. Overall great experience staying at the resort.

This place is ideally located on the outskirts of manali and its tourists rush. Close to some adventure activities and leads upto the famous atal tunnel and snow point at koksar. The resort itself has a breathtaking view on either side. Has facilities to relax and keep yourself occupied if you are not the type to go around. Rooms are nice and cozy, they provide a heater incase you can't handle the near zero temperatures at night. Food is good if not great. There was nothing that we ordered and not like! i got to appreciate couple of local delicacies namely. Kale channe ka khatta and tudkiya bhat and rajma. I wish i could have tasted siddu too. It was not just about the food. The kitchen responds in such a warm and positive way to your requirements. I didn't hear a single no. While they are priced on the higher side, it does cost them to hire good people too! so, i didn't mind it. They made our stay memorable and has us wanting to come back for winter!
