What an amazing hotel!! Trust me if u want peace and home away from home.. This property is the best. I never do reviews but I needed to do this review as I never felt like I left my home.. Prakash the helper was so helpful and the owner is a very humble and a good person.. Though somewhat far from main city but this is why we go on holidays to feel the vibe and peace away from our city.. Must give a chance to this property I will not regret.. 🎖️🏆

The stay was truly enjoyable with a warm and welcoming staff who made us feel comfortable throughout. The property offered a beautiful scenic view that was refreshing. Everything was well-maintained, clean, and hygienic, creating a peaceful and memorable atmosphere.

The location was quite inconvenient — it is situated far from the city center, making commuting time-consuming and cumbersome. Additionally, the approach road to the property was in poor condition, which further added to the discomfort of getting there. The quality of food served at the hotel was below expectations, both in terms of taste and variety. Furthermore, the washroom were not well-maintained, with an unpleasant odor present throughout my stay, which significantly impacted comfort and hygiene. Lastly, the service levels were subpar. The staff seemed unresponsive and inattentive to guest needs, which reflected a lack of management oversight.

The view from the room, staff behavior, food all are to the best of the standard, location is very good, taxis are available on call. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall a very delightful experience.

If you are looking forward towards having a leisure stay away from the bustling crowd and shops of the city, this is your place. However, one of the foremost things to keep in mind is travel-ling around. If you have a car with you it would not be of any trouble but in our case since we didn’t have a vehicle with us we had to call the reception each time to book us a cab. The owner and staff helped us in finding a cab even during busy hours but it takes around 15 minutes to even half an hour sometimes for the cabs to arrive. We sort of anticipated this so we were pretty chilled about it. Both the house keepers (ravi and neeruta) are gem, they were super nice and made sure to cater to our needs to the best of their ability. The room was clean, cozy and budget friendly and upon request we also got one with a spectacular view of the hills (we paid extra 500 for 2 nights. The food was simple and homely just as how we prefer. We requested for a room heater however we learn t that it was chargeable (300) which generally isn’t the case in most accommodations in hill stations. Overall, i would rate the hotel a 7. 5 (1. 5 star extra because of the hospitality of the staff.

Location of the property is bit far but you can always book a cab. The view from the room is amazing and the rooms are clean. Need little improvement when it comes to food. Staff is very friendly and respectful they try their best to provide to whatever you need. If you want to stay in a quite and peaceful place you can consider this property.

Everything was perfect! The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Perfect location! The owner was super friendly and helpful! We will come back for sure!

It was overall and awesome stay. Loved every minute here. It was isolated and beautiful. The best part was the service here. The staff is so co operative and just a call away. Food was okay here but you can order from zomato and swiggy and the hotel staff would serve you happily. I would love to visit here again. My experience at soke homestay was nothing short of exceptional

Rooms are too good. Food is limited and available on demand. It was bit far from city but overall stay was excellent.

Very far from town. Reaching there was a tough job. On reaching there i found it was not a home stay but a hotel. Very few staff and very clumsy except a young girl. I asked for drinking water to be served in my room but they forgot saying they were busy. Food quality was so so but taste was not good. Rooms were very good, neat and clean. View from the rooms are very good. Very few option for food if you are a vegetarian. Buffet breakfast with very limited option. Dinner to be ordered by 7 pm else you will not get on time. On of the guest asked for some food to be taken to their room for their 4 year child who was sick, the staffs refused to do so saying they do not have permission from their management, it was very tough to convince them again the young lady came forward to help them. Parking for two cars only and if full you have to park by roadside unprotected. No place for driver's stay if you have driver for your personal car. You will have to book a separate room for him same as of yours. Food charges are not included. Room rent for two person only, if have a child above 7 years, then 500 per person will be charged additional.

Unfortunately from my point of view you need to work upon your services however the warmth and hospitality offered was good. Need to work upon their breakfast quality.

Rooms and cleanliness was good. Ambience of open space and room interior is great. They play a regional tune everyday which is soul soothing. Only thing which is not as expected is limited food options for breakfast buffet, no flexibility of early breakfast even bread jam which is required for tourists leaving early(even tea/coffee is not available fresh, u have to make it using powders. Would recommend only for stay without food

It was my first visit to Gangtok and after giving enough time to search for the hotels, I ended up booking this beautiful hotel. First of all room has a spectular view and was neat and clean. Room heater and extra blanket where given in advance. Staff are very supportive and cordial. Owner Mr Bhutia is very friendly and will extend his support for all your needs. Coming to location it is quite far from MG road/central town. But you won't regret it, as taxis are always available for all the traveling needs. Only suggestion for the owner is to improve the food department,there are not many options and taste was not that great. Have a great stay. 😊
