Review Of Snow Peak Retreat & Cottages

Hi.... 1. I stayed at Snow Peak Retreat & Cottages, Manali for 02 Nights. The experience was terrible and much below expectations vis-a-vis charges. 2. The room offered was was in backyard with only staircases to reach (No lifts). Moving up and down sometimes with luggage and kids become difficult. 3. *Location*: The location is close to Temple Hadimba & require extremely difficult even for a experience driver to drive through to location. 4. *Parking* : Very Less space for parking and i almost put my Car in a ditch while checking out. The Hotel staff take your car keys to the park as per their requirement once you have checked in the rooms. (I was not comfortable handing over keys to them... but no choice). It really was a terrible experience 5. *Food* : Break fast had a wide spread and was good. But the diner menu could have been better. Even staff hospitalitywas lacking. 6. *Drinking Water* : They offered only one bottle (1 Ltr) for my complete family (04 pers) per day. On asking the reception i was told only one bottle per day is allowed and balance can be RO water. I purchased 02 bottles from restaurant. And on second day they even didn't provide that one bottle as well. 7. *Maintainace & Upkeep* : For 02 nights stay i can't believe no room service came or was provided. No change of bedsheets or pillows. Basic toiletries were missing like toothpaste, brush, comb. They only provided hand-wash & shampoo/body wash. 8. *Staff Behavior* :- The soar point was the staff behavior especially at the reception of Mr Ashish Thakur whom was very rude & his tone, basic etiquettes need tremendous improvement. I wanted to speak to Manager but he refused to provide me his contact details. I told him that, i will be forwarding a feedback of same but my request fell to deaf ears. 9. Overall a terrible experience at the hotel and will never recommend any of my friends or colleagues to stay at Snow Peak Resorts and Cottages at all. Warm regards

Location is good Food was very bad Also very few options in food Facilities also not good No lift no fan in rooms No ac Only good thing is scenic beauty

Hotel Snow Peak is located in a scenic and peaceful area, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills. It's an ideal spot for those looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Major tourist attractions and local markets are within a reasonable distance, making it convenient for sightseeing. The approach road is slightly narrow but manageable, and the overall environment around the hotel is calm and pleasant. The food served at Snow Peak was delicious especially if you enjoy [local Himachali cuisine/north Indian food]. Room service was generally prompt, and the staff ensured the food was served hot and fresh. Rooms at Snow Peak are cozy/spacious with neat interiors and large windows offering lovely mountain views. Key features included: Comfortable bedding and clean linens Working geyser and clean bathroom Basic toiletries provided Television and electric kettle available Though basic, the amenities were well-maintained. There wasn’t a swimming pool or gym, but the serene surroundings made up for it. The staff at Snow Peak were courteous, polite, and attentive. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Housekeeping was done regularly, and any special requests were handled promptly. The manager and reception staff were especially helpful with local guidance and taxi bookings.

Room service is not good .washroom is very bad. But food was too good. Location is good parking space.garden is clean

food excellent, amenities and services are very professional, location is little bit congested but good.

Stay was good; though bit expensive. Hotel Staffs are courteous. Breakfast& Buffet dinner was tasteless; money went waste. But Ala Carte food was good. Very near to Mata Hadimba Devi Temple. Overally a good experience.

Had some issue in water as jugs in the restaurant were kept in open without covering. led to non stop vommit for my kid.

Descent Hotel. Location not very ideal, you get stuck in traffic at Hadimba temple. Food is OKish. Buffet could be better. Though they have lot of options, but taste is OKish. They claim to be a 4 star, but it’s really not.

Hotel is very inside from Mall Road . Room are not maintained in good condition. Not like 4 star. Breakfast is nice.

food is good,rooms also beutiful...but m not satisfied from room service... because they are not serious for my complaint which is related to bathroom water tap...

the location is a bit difficult to find . But staying at the hotel is definitely worth it ...in terms of amenities and services. The food is also quite good there especially the morning breakfast includes a lot of options which is great.

First time I’m visiting Manali with family, property location was very good, it is accessible to Mall road, Hadimba Devi temple and all other main places in Manali

It is a very small room , The location is good and the food tastes average , limited options for breakfast and dinner buffet.

The hotel location is amazing. Staff and receptionist were so kind. Food was amazing. Overall all best

no lift in the property. buffet provided is not at all tasty. staff at restaurant doesn't bother about taste of the food. it is clear that they wanted to eat whatever they provided. it is better to eat outside in the mall road where you will get to eat local special dish. there is no special dish in their dinner menu. bathroom water not draining it is logged in the bathroom. road to the hotel is very narrow. view point is superb. overall average only. for the rate what I have booked, hotel facilities doesn't worth. there are lot of choices available in manali and in outer also. better to book near mall road for better shopping experience.

Food & location is not good

Food is good, stay is fabulous, cleanliness is top notch.

good Location, nice property with coperative staff,with average food quality they also provide us complimentary dinner with nonveg dishes. But they don't serve Halal nonveg ,this is a big disappointing aspect I request the property management to serve Halal food🙏

Stayed for 4 nights with family. Excellent hotel rooms are good with features that works. Initially the standard room was provided which was very small and I had to upgrade to a bigger room. Breakfast food options were good and healthy. Never got any issues with the food. The only negative for this hotel is location and parking, if you plan to drive yourself, you must be a great driver, as the hotel is on top of Hadimba Mountain. Otherwise hire a local taxi.

Hotel food quality was excellent, specially breakfast and dinner arrangment. Location was good ,cleanliness was maintained & staff was promp. Only hotel was not able resolve water drain issue in bathroom.
