Our stay at Rio de Grande. This property completely ruined what was supposed to be a peaceful beach vacation. 1. Absolute Negligence in Maintenance: The AC didn’t work at all, no matter how many times we complained. The toilet flush was broken and never fixed. The bathroom was suffocating with no proper ventilation or basic amenities. For the price they charge, 2. Disgusting Hygiene Standards: The bed sheets provided had stains on them — yes, actual stains. It’s beyond disgusting that a hotel could allow something so unhygienic . This alone says everything about how poorly the property is managed. 3. Promises and Lies About Wi-Fi: They claim to have “the best Wi-Fi on the beach,” which is a complete lie. There was no Wi-Fi at all, while every other shack, restaurant, and even the tiny shop across the road had perfectly working internet. 4. Rude and Unprofessional Staff: When we tried to address these issues, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unbothered. Instead of helping, they behaved as if we were inconveniencing them by simply expecting basic services. The attitude was unacceptable and disrespectful. 5. Overall Verdict: This property is poorly managed, unhygienic, and utterly unreliable. It’s one of the worst stays we’ve ever experienced. Don’t be fooled by the photos promises — there are dozens of far better stays in Agonda that actually care about their guests. 💢 Strongly NOT recommended. Save your money, time, and sanity — avoid Rio de Grande completely.

Our stay was decent and good, but the location was quite far, limiting the availability of food and other amenities.

It was okay but location provided on mmt is not correct there agin we asked lot people and we booked 3 people but bed we got very small ambience is good and also of they provide 1 l water bottle than 500 ml worth for thw cost

I was there for 3 nights and stay was wonderful. They have nice ambience and clean rooms. Resort has swimming pool and well as restaurant and bar. For activities it has billiards table. Beach is on waking distance from the resort.

Exactly what you see on here. Or even better. The location is a 2 minute walk from Agonda Beach. Shops, Shacks and restaurants within less than a minute's walk. The rooms are super clean. Our's even had a foot massager!! And that was the best thing after a long day out. The staff is attentive and friendly. The service is quick. The swimming pool is clean and nice. They have a car park too. They also have a restaurant which looks pretty nice but we did not have a chance to give it a try. All in all, would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting South goa.

The room was so small that it was not worth the price, even wifi was not working. The complementary breakfast was just for namesake.

I recently stayed at rio de grandee resort in agonda, and it was a fantastic experience. Resort is located very close the beach. It offers a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Accommodation: the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-decorated, blending modern comfort with a beach y vibe. The bed was comfortable, rooms have private balcony. Service: the staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. They were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, always available to help with any requests. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with a good mix of local goan and international options. The seafood was especially fresh and flavorful, and breakfast with a sea view was a highlight of each day. The resort has well-maintained facilities, tv, mini fridge, a nice pool for a refreshing dip. Agonda beach is less crowded and perfect for relaxation, away from the more tourist-heavy areas. There are also some quaint cafes and shops nearby if you want to explore the local scene. Overall: rio de grandee resort offers a great mix of relaxation, comfort, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind on the beautiful beach of agonda!

I was excited to be celebrating my wife's birthday on a new property. However there were mixed reactions. Good things : Awesome location, Courteous staff, Good Rooms as we were told our rooms have been upgraded for being the first visitor, complimentary eateries and beers provided , management was kind enough to give complimentary cakes as well for birthday celebration 🎉 Things to improve Breakfast was just bread butter jam , swimming pool not hygienic, congested car parking
