Review Of Rhenock House | Rooms in a Luxury Villa

Rhenock house is located at a very nice location. You get a good view of the hills from your room and also from the garden at ground floor. Rooms in which we stayed were spacious. Bathrooms are small and just average. No toiletries like dental kit, shaving kit, shower cap were provided. Chef is good. We had good snacks & dinner during our stay. The interiors are well done. Staff is courteous.

The reception and ready to serve attitude of the staff and caretaker is refreshing. The quality of services including the food is more than what any 4 star facility would offer. The facilities, amenities and the carefully nurtured surroundings provide the right mood for a great holiday. Sure, one will feel comfortable in this great villa property

Such A beautiful, scenery and lovely place to stay. Definitely the best location to enjoy the most beautiful view in Gangtok.

I had selected this hotel as it was one of the highest price, with an expectation of good view and location. The hotel is located on a relatively shady area/road. The room given to me had no view, and I was told that make-my-trip has selected only such rooms. Dinner was good but it took around 90 mins. They do not serve lunch and the nearest restaurant is around 5 KM away. Overall it was a bit disappointment. Makemytrip had written to me that my package included breakfast, but initially hotel refused to honour it. Only after arguement, they agreed to it. The rooms did not had some of the basic things like towels or cups or water, which I had to ask. The staff were friendly.

Hotel is good only if you compare the same from Gangtok's other hotels. But services of the hotel is really good. Only thing that can be better is food. In fact, food is really a problem in Gangtok for all north Indians as Punjabi touch is really missing here. Overall, hotel is recommended but it's not worth spending 2800/- per night.

The hotel is away from the city centre bustle but still within easy reach. There is a very warm, hospitable feel about it, with just ten rooms, and the owner and his family living in his own bungalow on the same estate.

This hotel is little away from the centre of the site but you wonÂ’t face any problem in communication. ItÂ’s on a small hillock. View from garden and first floor room is awesome. The owner of this property is a nice person. Food is average at this place. Make contact with them before hand and opt for the first floor view facing rooms or they may dump you in a ground floor room which has no view and has lot of noise.

The hotel is not so much in a commercial area, so has a good feel to it and has nice rooms of a good size. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty too.

Great location and lovely staff. Hotel has lovely ambience. The dinner and breakfasts were very good. Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. This is a family friendly establishment. Bathrooms need updating.

Local taxi drivers refuse to drive vehicle up to entrance except check in and check out. Management should review this aspect and allow taxies up to reception. Generally food is expensive in Gangtok and we can have a very good view from inside the rooms at this Hotel.

The Location , ambiance, service of the Hotel was good but I found that the Hotel unnecessary wanted to charge more amount from us they were more in to getting money out of ppl. In my case I had gone by Makemy trip early Bird discount offer that was 20% less amount and without any food facility but on Reaching the Hotel the receptionist said that we have recevied Makemy trips mail that I have CP faci.lity for my booking and also they were charging more 1000 Rs. more but after talking to makemy trip and showing my voucher he agreed that I was right. Also while checking out they charged more service tax from me although it was mentioned less in my Voucher. So money wise I thought they are more concerned otherwise rest of the things are really good.
