First of all, I had booked the hotel with complimentary breakfast and lunch through MMT. However, when I arrived, the manager informed me that the room I had booked was non-AC. On the MMT listing, nothing was mentioned about this. I was forced to pay extra for an AC room as well as for food, which was supposed to be included in my booking. The experience started off terribly.
Secondly, the food was very average and overpriced. The hospitality was extremely unprofessional. And the manager’s behaviour is horrible.
I had booked two rooms. While the decorations were decent, both the rooms and bathrooms had a terrible smell. They seemed to use cheap cleaning products with a very unpleasant odor. I stayed there for one night, during which there was a power outage. To my shock, there was no backup electricity. We had to suffer the entire night in the heat, with mosquitoes and sweat making it unbearable.
The next morning, when we asked for milk tea, the staff told us it wasn’t available. But just a few minutes later, they served milk tea at the table right next to us.
And finally, the worst part: they asked us for a review. We told them we would write it later, but they insisted, took our phone, and wrote a review themselves on the website. This was shocking and completely unprofessional.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing and unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. We left very dissatisfied.
