Review Of OTDC Panthasala Chandaneswar

The stay was pleasant. The food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, was excellent. The courtesy extended by the staff was beyond expectation considering it was a government extension. The room needed some improvements. There was no fridge/minibar, toiletries were minimal, lighting needed improvement. On the whole, my expectations were met.

A very homely experience far away from home....The staff was very caring and took care of our needs throughout our stay.The suite room was pretty spacious with a nice balcony..I would love to visit this place again.

Very nice stay , lovely cooking, very calm and peaceful property, good generator back up , spacious room with balcony,in a word it is safe stay away from crowd , good hospitality indeed

The property was excellent.. It is clam.. rooms have excellent view of sea.. Ac delux rooms are good. Infact our non ac room also had excellent view and windy.. Food was good though fish items were too much costly. Definitely will stay next time also.

Rooms were big but full of damp. The electricity cuts very often like 50 times a day although they provide generator in case of electricity cut. They do have wifi connection but its near the dining hall but most of the time the internet is not even working shows as connected but no internet. But there stuffs were very polite no problem on that side. A bit slow but works. Restaurant needs 1 day to understand your pallet first dayyou mah get disappointed by food but from next day its ok.

Excellent stay, staff are cooperative, good food and beautiful location. Anyone can enjoy his leisure time and holidays here.

Talsari, OTDC panthashala is a great property that is very near to the beach and you can enjoy the beach 🏖️ view from the balcony of the rooms. the in-house food, staff behaviour was excellent 👌. staff was very polite and cooperative. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend people for a visit for a relaxing holiday or weekend spend.

We booked this otdc for 3 days and stayed in the deluxe rooms. Booked through mmt and it costed us around 1700 per head with breakfast. The rooms were big enough and nice and clean. The bathrooms were also good, clean and no mess. Balconies were huge there, and you can also get a direct sea view from the balcony. Very near to the seashore, so overall the location was a plus for us. The staffs were friendly and co operative. Another plus point for that. The one negative point about this stay was food. The breakfast was complementary so cannot talk ill about that, but on the first day we ordered lunch from the hotel itself. The taste was not good, plus we ordered Rohu fish which was not fresh, kept in the fridge for long so it got a tasteless. The overall taste of each item is absolutely not good according to the price. Once you visit there, you will get restaurant just 2 steps away, whose food is way better than this hotel and also comparatively cheaper.

Best place to stay if you are going to talsari. Food 4/5 staff behavior 5/5 room 5/5 budget friendly.

Room quality and service was above average. Environment and ambience was nice. Food quality is ok but costly. Thali are not available. Overall ok.

Overall, the feedback received from panthasala to chandnaswar was not positive. There were significant concerns regarding the room service and bathroom conditions. Additionally, the lack of drinking water provided was a major inconvenience. I would not recommend this otdc hotel to anyone. The breakfast options were also not satisfactory.

Poor room maintenance, corridors are not cleaned, no one was available at the reception while checking in, ac not working properly, unnecessary disturbances during night time, even though location is good.
