Review Of Om Leisure Resort (Chilika) - Satapada

I had booked the hotel for an overnight. I had booked 3 executive rooms as shown in the pictures. We were three friends on a business trip. First of all, the hotel is not found on Google map. We put a map and we were directed to Puri. Finally travelling through a road filled with cows (Puri-Satapada) we reached the hotel. The rooms aren’t cleaned at all. We could find that the rooms weren’t even swept for days. The cigar ashes and food waste of the previous people stayed there were still there. Toilet is full of stains. The basic toiletries weren’t kept in the room and we had to demand for it. They told that the breakfast will be available by 7.30, but you will get it only by 9.30. The washing area at the restaurant side was disgusting. We had to wait for 30 minutes to get a coffee. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Very much disappointed.

The location is good and the executive room was comfortable. All the gadgets were in a working state. The room service was good

it's a well constructed property with very poor maintained. The rooms are not regularly cleaned. After booking with MMT....I was denied checkin....and MMT had to help. They have a beautiful dining hall.... but again not well maintained. The kitchen facilities are just ok...and the staff not very professional. The kitchen preparation leave a lot to be desired. Hope MMT Zdoes a good research and background check before on-boarding any property....BECAUSE WE TRUST MMT and do the booking..... which leads to a loss of trust in MMT. Hoping for improved listing by MMT.

If like us you're travelling without your own transport and you want to see the irrawaddy dolphins of Chilika lake then this place is perfectly located just a short walk from the jetty. The place has seen better days but was fine for a two night stay. The staff are really helpful but management needs improving so they can show their best. Our room wasn't clean enough on arrival (it felt like they weren't expecting us despite booking on MMT days before) but staff sorted out all the issues. The room itself was huge and though tired was decent enough. The food was OK and did the job as limited other options around. We did a 7am dolphin boat trip which was incredible - we saw dolphins almost straight away and continued to see activity for the whole trip. Highly recommended the boat trip from the government booking desk.

There is no easy way to reach the resort and bad communication with resort team we couldn't able to reach the resort and lost our money still we didn't receive any cancellation money from your company team totally disappointment from your team. Not interested

poor service and always smiling bathroom. price range so high very bad experience . my opinion is wast of money.

Nice stay, fooding facility available, staff is nice. Room are near and clean. Night lighting is wonderful.

Overpriced for what is offers. Problems with ac, sheets with some stains. Staff helpful and welcoming staff. On the contrary food and breakfast are good.

Rooms are excellent. Environment is the experience you have ever get. Hotel staff are so polite. I want to thank you manoj(the best man i ever met. Everything about this hotel is best. I got the best experience here.

1. Dg back up not available for ac. So you ar (as were we in the middle of a hot summer with no electricity in the afternoon) if there is no electricity. 2. Hotel manager (not sure what he was) not available to address any concerns. 3. Only one cook and hence hours of delay in getting food. They don't stock anything. They neither had mushroom, nor corn, nor fish. They indicated that they could get from market and prepare. So order ahead of time. In our case we phoned 3 hrs before for fish and on reaching the manager said he didn't get any call. Apparently, call was picked by someone at bhubaneswar who never communicated back to the hotel. We ordered chicken for starters as well which never made it to our table. This despite we repeating our order over and over with the waitress and the cook. So ended up with paneer and some veg pakodas. Breakfast was puri-matar and eggs. Decent enough. You have to tell them ahead what u want to eat and they would make. 4. Ac capacity with respect to room size was not adequate. It was still hot during day time even after putting ac on 16 deg. 5. We had gone out (and we did intimate them that we would return post 11 pm) and returned around 11:30 pm to find the main gate locked. We honked and kept calling numbers but no response. We stood there outside for 20 mins or so before a half drowsy man in a towel bothered to come out from within and open the gate. 6. Family suite size is decent enough. But not all family suites are same size. They vary. They claim they have view of chilika but it's like seeing a meteor from your roof top. 7. Hotel attendants mostly were ladies likely from local village and seemed to be honest and hardworking trying their best. 8. All in all, not very exciting stay but for a few things here n there as listed above. Alright for a 1-night stay only if no other options.

5 excellent. Resort. Excellent service and excellent staff. Good food quality. Staff very friendly and cooperative. Very good rooms ambeience. Overall. Very highly recommended.

Hotel ke naam pe dhoka hai only 6 room ka hotel hai bahar se sirf focus hai total paisa west ho gaya hamne checking hi nahi kaya

Very good experience at om leisure resort satapada, room size was good, food was good, however very less options are there. Overall it was a good experience

It was a great stay. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Breakfast was also very good

Rooms are spacious with 2 big compartments namely living area with soft and a spacious bedroom. Toilets were clean. We had booked 2 rooms. One of the rooms in which my friend and family stayed, had issues of leakage from ac due to which the bags got wet and it suddenly stopped working in the night. Since mosquitoes were there, they had to take blanket. But since ac stopped working, it was sweating. Thankfully, it started to work automatically after half an hour. Food was ok. However, breakfast didn't have much options. The upama served was not hot at all. The restaurant staff needs training. Overall, not bad, but an average stay.

The accommodation was bad but the restaurant was horrible. The charged extra money for all the food items and the people behaviour is also bad
