Hotel Golden Palace

I was very exited for stay at Golden Place Puri, however its was terrible experience as 3 times change of rooms due to bad condition but still their room's extension & geezer not working, also their room locks not working, was waited 15-15 mins for today's get unlocked by their staff. One thing I like as it's breakfast only. Overall not appreciated it.

Not good rooms and proper amenities.. hotel location is good but bad smell and cleaning should be proper. It was not fixed even after informing manager and staff

Worst experience based on the price of the hotel. It deserve a price of less, Just for the view you can’t charge anything.

The room was not clean, the sofa was stained and the bathroom condition was pathetic, also the fridge was rustic and not cooling. The pool was slimy and not cleaned seemed unhygienic.

This is one of the best places to stay in Puri. Comfortable spacious rooms, good food (tandoor items are super), pool access and the beach is barely a minute away. The surprise was view of the upper section of the Jagannath Temple from the window of the upper floors' rooms. A must stay place.

Excellent location, excellent hospitality, excellent food with amenities. Clean bedsheets & comforter everyday. Totally "worth it" experience.

We booked total 3 rooms. Two Delux rooms with balcony and one presidential suite. The food was excellent and the location was at Golden Beach with free pass for each guest. But I've an unpleasant experience with the presidential suite. 1. Leakage in the sink of drawing hall. 2. No hot water in the washroom. 3. Room lock did not work! 4. No fridge was given 5. TV did not work in the hall

The room bed are of poor quality. unbearable smell is found inside room.. food quality is very poor.. difficult to eat.. rice n curry ordered but they are very in bad condition

I stayed for a night with my family . We were 6 and had booked 2 rooms with sea view . The property has arguably the best location in puri with it being right on a restricted beach which is very clean and with manageable crowd. The food at the restaurant is very good and at reasonable price . The service is excellent and the guys serving us were awesome . That’s about it when it comes to positives . The rooms are shabby given that I paid per room for one night and that’s without breakfast . For a rate which is almost equal to what one would expect to pay at most 4 star and maybe some 5 star properties , this hotel cannot even be considered 3 star. The linen , towels and furnishings are all run down and average . No hand towels , WC with a broken seat , dirty glasses covered nicely in paper claiming they are hygienic and so on and so forth . It would all have been fine for a room costing 7-8K but . I know the concept of demand and supply and that I booked during a busy period but still I wouldn’t bother paying this much for what I am getting . The front desk guys don’t even mutter a welcome when you walk in . They are least bothered about your stay and how it had been . No valet parking for your car and then again many other such things.

It was a very bad experience as for a similar amount, we book a 5 star hotel and the quality is served top notch but here at Golden Palace Hotel it was terrible. The staff was hospitable but the infrastructure and the food was bad. There were cockroaches in the hotel room and the breakfast food menu was very basic. I would not recommend anyone such a bad infrastructure hotel

best part was the view you got from the balcony the beach view otherwise the room was not as per cost they charge not as much clean.

The location of hotel is very good,food too is fare priced and good to eat,but the maintenance is very poor and service is also the same,it looks poorly maintained,the service is very late,also their is a huge problem of moisture in sea facing rooms,you have to continuously turn on the ac and because of that the room gets very cold and the blanket is also not enough to cover it.

Location is excellent right on the beach. Hospitality is great. Food is great too. They are providing complimentary access tickets to Blue flag beach.
