Our stay at Novella Beach Resort in Varkala was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail of the room was meticulously curated – from the premium coffee powder to the convenience of Alexa, the plush bedding, and the thoughtfully selected toiletries. And then there was the extraordinary view – simply breathtaking. It was truly a 5-star experience, with every little aspect beautifully taken care of. The staff’s warmth and hospitality were remarkable. Chef Subbi delighted us with a sumptuous breakfast featuring a Kerala platter and a Mediterranean platter, both crafted to perfection. The rest of the team, including the receptionists, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Adding to the charm were the three adorable dogs on the property, bringing an extra touch of joy and making the experience even more wholesome. Novella Beach Resort stands out as a class apart from other stays on Varkala Cliff. We genuinely hope they continue to uphold this exceptional standard.

Bathroom pipes are leaking food service is not functioning well overall just ok not worth for what i payed

Good service and amazing view from room. A must stay if visiting varkala. The dogs on the property were also friendly. There is no pool as mentioned but beach is only 200m away

Very bad experience. Our room had 3 lizards and a big rat. There were spaces in the window and under bed which allowed rats and lizards to come inside frequently. We couldn't sleep all of three nights. Long power cuts during the night. I have video proofs of staff helping get rid of lizards and rats.

Excellent stay with perfect view of the sea and sunset. The place has all amenities like alex and tv with ott subscriptions as well. Food from the cafe is also amazing.

I recently had an excellent stay at a hotel with a breathtaking sea-facing view and an amazing breakfast. The room was spacious and well-appointed, offering a panoramic vista of the ocean that was simply mesmerizing. Each morning, i woke up to the soothing sound of waves and the sight of the sun rising over the water, which set a perfect tone for the day. The highlight of my mornings was the breakfast. It featured a diverse and delicious menu, with options ranging from fresh fruit made-to-order omelets. The quality and variety of the food were impressive, and everything was prepared with great care and attention to detail.

I had a peaceful stay at novella. Aesthetic rooms, bathroom is clean and big. There is no invert-er backup and hence during power cuts it goes dark for sometime, which needs to be resolved. Staff is good and helpfull.

The hotel is very different in concept and they’ve taken special care towards small small things such as room ambience, paintings, sheets, curtains, bottles, bathrobe, towels etc to make the experience very comfortable. These things may sound mundane, but they matter a lot. The view was amazing from the room window. Don’t expect much from pool though. They give free netflix so you can netflix and chill when you have explored the beach and the cliff

It was such a pleasant stay in Novella… The rooms were super clean and aesthetically appealing… The cafe had good food… The staffs were very friendly….And we loved being with Thomas(the cute dog) over there….If you are ever in Varkala, this is the best place to stay to get remarkable views and happy stay❤️

Property is really awesome. Architecture is based on a novel that has 4 chapters( rooms. Great ocean view. The beach& varkala cliff both are very close to the hotel. Hotel staff is very nice & helping. Room had all the amenities, good quality well placed. Washrooms are spacious & very neat & clean.
