Review Of mayurakshee resort

Property was horrible. There was unlimited spider and mosquitos all over the room. Property was not maintained at all. I will never book hotels through make my trip. U people have worst hotel partner

Excellent location, on road. Staffs are wonderful, particularly to mention their manager. Excellent hospitality. Awesome food quality. Serene, tranquil place, perfect for revitalize oneself.

Resort is in excellent location but maintenance is well below par. Food quality average option limited, place feels haunted at night.

Resort is at hilly area with lake / dam view. It's children's park is very attractive and garden is well maintained. Resort has it's own small hill with well decorated steps to go to the peak and there are 2 cottages to take rest and watch the dam from top. Very nice expeience

The location of this resort is excellent, overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious, there is an attached balcony which is large. Food is decent, overall i would say it's value for money. I have deducted 1 star because there is a huge load shedding problem here, which can be really irritating unless you're visiting in summer. Even though rooms has acs, because of the electricity problem the rooms are given as non ac.

Our staying was nice. Property was well maintained and the garden area was really big and beautiful. Lots of fun activities were available for kids. Food was really tastey but very spicy. Now coming to the main drawback of the resort, there is no intercom or bell system in the any room and all the rooms were is 2nd floor. We have to go to the ground floor every time we wish to get any kind of room service. This was a real disadvantage. Staff is also very less comparing to number guests. Rest the resort is well located near the dam and the view is really very beautiful from resort.

The service received at mayurakshee resort was absolutely pathetic. They were constantly busy with other engagements. Albeit the resort didn't have much of an occupancy, a wedding had taken place the day before our check-in. The entire resort was not cleaned properly and there were a large number of areas that were downright filthy, even after bringing it to their constant attention it fell on deaf ears. We drove from kolkata to the resort and since we left early so we requested them to provide our rooms at 12pm (as compared to the regulated 1pm, they kept on refusing and forced us to wait. They couldn't even provide a single room so that a washroom could be used. Food was moderate at-best. The amenities claimed by the resort are barely function-able to can be considered absent. Continuously the generator was being used since there was barely any current since the time we arrived due to which vital amenities like the geyser was not functional at a cold temperature. Main issue was the current that was absent most of the time. The floors had this horrible sticky stain throughout meaning they weren't cleaned and a foul smell was present outside our rooms, on the corridor. So cleanliness was really poor.

The washroom was not upto the mark in comparison to the room. Location is really nice. The taste & portion of food was great.

The property is located in a picturesque location overlooking the Massanjore dam reservoir on the Mayurakshi river. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the sunset from the viewpoint is breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The bed linen and washroom are properly cleaned. The staff is lesser in number compared to the available rooms and on top of that, all are not trained but nevertheless, all are well behaved and courteous. The food in the restaurant is delicious and freshly prepared but do keep enough time while ordering food as they take a lot of time to serve your order. Please note only veg sandwich/butter toast is available as complimentary breakfast but you can order, parantha, omlette, puri bhaji etc. The food is pricing is reasonable and delicious. The place is just besides the highway connecting dumka and very easily accessible, even in local bus. The boating facility is available with speed boat and same booked from the reception lobby. A evening boat ride is definitely recommend. A nice weekend can be spent along with family and friends. You can access the bank of the reservoir with little off road ing (no awed vehicle required can be done with high gc car) and have your own picnic with family and friends. The road connecting dumka is fabulous and good amount of twist and turn and is a motor enthusiast paradise for some pedal to metal driving.

Excellent place, enjoyable, good stay for only for one night.

Staff is casual in performing the duties. There is no provision of running water, 24 hour checkout. Staff is impolite and stubborn. Overall worst experience ever.
