The Grand Sona

Service: Wonderful staff. The entire staff goes out of their way to ensure your comfort and make your experience special . Very polite, courteous, warm & helpful. Location: Hotel is located just 2 kms away from Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlingam temple, 12 kms from Deogarh Airport and has easy access to local markets. Room: booked Junior Suite Room for 2 people. neat, clean, spacious, offering a comfortable & peaceful stay. Only drawback is tiny bathroom & less lighting in the rooms. All rooms have city view. Food: The chef there cooks up excellent Indian preparations - prawns, biryani, crispy tandoori rotis, litti chokha. lip smacking. Deogarh is a very green city, full of simple, honest, warm & helpful people.

The stay at Grand Sona was extremely comfortable. Although it is 2km from Temple but local transport is easily available. The surroundings are nice, we had a room at 5th floor giving a spectacular view of the city. The pool is good and staff is nice. They make the food at restaurant bit spicy so you have to mention in particular in case you want it non spicy

Overall a good experience, clean, hygienic environment. Courteous staff, excellent service provided by Chef Ganesh during our breakfast buffet interaction. We had booked the Suite, room was spacious, clean, probably some more amenities like Iron board/ Iron could have been added. Overall a pleasant stay!

The best place to stay in deoghar with a decent pool. Only service needs to be upgraded. Swimming pool attendent should be there discourage people without swimming costume to enter the pool. Bar will be functional in next two months

I stayed here two nights with my family. Property is excellent. Staff is good. Food is best. All dishes are nicely crafted and taste is superb. Nicely maintained swimming pool.
