We had booked a Deluxe Queen Size Bed Room at Madpackers North Goa for two nights. We are two solo female travellers visiting Goa for the first time. We trusted your property and made all our plans based on the photos and information provided
However, on arrival, we were completely shocked and disappointed to find that the room allotted to us was nothing like what was shown online. There was no cupboard, the room was in poor condition, the glass had visible stains, and the commode seat was yellow and unhygienic. This is absolutely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, when we raised our concern, the receptionist simply told us to “get a refund” since the room we booked wasn’t available. What kind of service is this?
It was a weekend, and because of this last-minute shock, we were unable to find any other suitable accommodation nearby. We were forced to stay one night in that room purely out of necessity because we obviously couldn’t be homeless in an unknown city. Our travel plans got disrupted, and the entire experience was extremely stressful and disappointing.
We demand a full refund of the amount paid, as the accommodation provided was not what we booked, not what was shown, and not what we paid for. Staying there for one night was not our choice it was a compulsion due to lack of alternatives.
