I stayed here recently and was disappointed with the experience. • The rooms were stinky and untidy, and even the bedsheets were not clean. • The balcony and surrounding areas were poorly maintained. • The swimming pool water was green and unclear, making it look very unhygienic (maybe due to the weather, but it was not maintained when I visited). My suggestion: before booking, call the property directly and ask for recent pictures or updates. Do not rely only on online ratings (like MakeMyTrip) as they can be

Location was Good, Food was good. But the rooms were not maintained well. it was smelly when we entered. we asked for roomspray before using it. From the moment we arrived, the staff extended a warm welcome with a refreshing local drink and ensured a smooth check-in. The resort is designed to reflect Coorg’s natural charm — wooden cottages elevated among trees, and plenty of green spaces that make you feel deeply connected to the surroundings.

Had a great stay in lazo areca ..food was good ..room was spacious and clean ..huge parking space and very near to all major attractions ..

Food is good . Location is 8 kms away from main City which is fine.. Service also fine.. Attenders are quick and manager is good.. But the cleanliness has to be improved.. Many flies and insects are there.. All others good

The service is not up to the mark when the waiters are serving the food it’s a basic that they need to first set up the table with salt pepper and water and then plates which is not acceptable . When you are not allowing out side food then you should keep the menu with authentic Coorg food which is completely missing the basic amenities is missing the wash area is terrible bedsheets was stained and turned..

power waa coming and going like some low budget hotel, no hot power. pool was damaged because of which we all including kids got cut in our leg fingers. basic things like tea coffee was not available during day time, it was only available during general lunch or bf hours.

Rooms were very bad. Insects were roaming around whole night. The rooms we got is near gate which is outside the property.

My stay at Lazo Areca Coorg Resort was wonderful, The Areca tree surroundings and peaceful ambiance made it perfect for relaxation, The staff was helpful, and the food was good. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd recommend it for nature lovers, The resort's scenic views and tranquil atmosphere make it an excellent choice for unwinding. I'm looking forward to returning and experiencing the beauty of Coorg again.

Terrible experience. Pool tiles are broken. Water is till your ankle height kids got hurt by broken tiles. No hot water stream in a proper way. As soon as you turn on hot water, light trips down. Washroom door can't be closed fully. No milk in the resort till 8 am in morning. So no bed tea. 8 am is the breakfast buffet time and you will get bed tea in breakfast buffet. Staff don't care about any of these things. It is like normal to them.

Service & food pathetic total waste of money Simply denying if any service is asked for. Served bread which expired 3 days before

It was a good stay. Morning breakfast was provided, and lunch and dinner were also available at an additional cost. The place has a beautiful natural view with backwaters. It’s a good spot for food, a comfortable stay, and it’s safe for families

Dont recommended this type of usless rrsort any more... Nothing is there.. I never ever recommend or refers to any of my dearest.....

It was Kinda Fine but they did not provide good food in the restaurant. The service and the Room was Great.

Food- Experience with food was really bad. In breakfast there is no variety, no hygiene, boiled eggs were half cooked, no taste. One day they denied to give lunch as their cook was not well, and asked to order, there was no nearby restaurants also, they didn't take any responsibility. Power cut- In a single day, there was a power cut more than 10 times. No appropriate wifi connection. Staff service - No knowledge of hospitality, no one was taking complaints seriously, all just went ignoring

Swimming pool was pathetic. It is totally unsafe as you will get cuts in your feet. Tiles are broken. Washroom door was too tight to open. Room could have been more clean. Property had lot of ants and mosquitoes

The location and amenities available at the resort is top notch and the service staff and management were friendly. Kids really enjoyed the stay. One negative is the quality of food, especially the breakfast, which is supposed to be complimentary. Hence, docking one star for the same.
