I’ve stayed at several TGI properties before and have always appreciated their hospitality and maintenance, but unfortunately, Langford Keys did not live up to that standard.
The rooms and bathrooms were poorly maintained, which was disappointing considering the brand’s usual reputation. However, what truly shocked us was the behavior of one staff member — when we misplaced our room key, instead of assisting us or verifying our identity to open the door, he became extremely rude, used foul language, and outright denied us access to our own room. I was forced to raise my voice just to get him to open the door.
We reported the incident, and management came in the morning. They informed us that the staff had been terminated and offered a refund, which we appreciated. Still, the entire experience left a very bitter taste.
This is not what I expect from TGI. Hopefully, the management takes stronger steps to maintain their brand reputation and ensure guests are treated with basic courtesy. Would not recommend this particular property.
