Review Of La Macaw Resort, Tajpur

The property looked very nice but that's about it. The food was very very bad. It was super oily. Even after instructions they did not improve the oil quantity. The room price was more as compared to what they actually provided. Bathroom could have been cleaner. I don't know who to blame, makemytrip or the hotel. For this kind of service and price. Again i will say the hotel property is great as compared to all the properties in tajpur but the food was bad.

It's a pleasant stay. Amenities and facilities are up to the mark. I would like to stay again. Staffs are very courteous.

1. Everyday room cleaning was not done 2. The towels provided were not properly cleaned 3. Bathroom need to be cleaned more, waste box was wet. 4. Food was very spicy and not suitable for children but when we complained they replace food once.

Situated very close to the sea. The place is very secluded and peaceful. Away from the crowd a small nice and tidy place to stay.

Service is very slow and staffs are very unattentive. You order something it takes ages to arrive. Also, pool water is not clean at all.

Overall experience is good. Food was nice and reasonable. Location is little bit off bit as beach was not that much accessible. We need to went little bit far for the beach. Amenities were also good. However, phone was not working in the room which caused little bit inconvenience in order to ask for room service or food. We received a personal number to contact which was sometimes unavailable. Nevertheless, the whole experience was great and worth it.

A very nice resort with almost all facilities one requires with a lot of luxuries as well. The staff behaviour and cooperation is really well with welcome drinks being served at the reception. The location is also very serene with the sea very near and a beautiful green pathway opposite to the hotel entrance. Would recommend this hotel to everyone if they maintain this price range as it's really value for money

Nice stay. Good food. Good vibe. Complimentary breakfast is good. Pool is also great. Overall nice experience. Only one thing that need to be improved is room service.

For tajpur visitors it is one of the best to book and enjoy your trip. Thanks to other visitors as have followed the same and find it good overall.

Rooms were ok, cleaning average. Food needs a bit of improvement

It was an excellent stay except the ceiling fan regulator was fixed at maximum speed. Could not moderate. The frequency of tea and coffee sachet in the rooms was less. May be more sachets to be kept knowing the number of days the guests are going to stay. Otherwise its excellent in every aspect!

Moderate food quality, moderate service, property away from sea. Moderate room, property should be more clean and tidy, should have constant commute facility between sea and hotel

It was very great experience to stay in la macaw. Rooms are good, food was also very good. Staff behaviour is excellent. If you are planning to visit tajpur, la macaw is the best option.

Location -40 minutes drive from digha. Nearby beaches 600 m or 2. 1 km. Hotel service is good but you need to call for basic requirements. Complimentary breakfast is just ok but dinner lunch food tastes great. Small swimming pool, needs better maintenance.

Hygiene wise rooms look like they've been closed for a long time and a little damp smell is there too. rooms are normal. it doesn't look like it's a resort. you will have similar facilities in the hotel price. If you are planning for any photoshoot then I would like to let you know they will not allow that. like we had a plan to use the pool but they mentioned we have to give 3k for 1.5 hours which is really wrong and not mentioned anywhere.

Not only this hotel, most of the hotels are charging overpriced. It’s a trend of tajpur then mandarmani and recently after yaas/ amphan they are radically trying to make money by looting tourists. The hotel was just average room with good clean building structure. No tajpur hotels are by sea side, so this one is also not. Lunch was extremely overpriced and rice was terrible hard to chew! it was worst food we ever had. However breakfast was great which was complementary. It has a pool and lawn which are clean.

All facilities of hotel are good except cleanliness of bathroom, room and dining area. It mostly dissatisfied me. Location is very good near tajpur beach. Food is also good. Swimming pool is really very good.
