Ashamukti Hotel

I have booked 2 rooms as i was travelling with my parents aged about 70 and my wife along with 2 kids, to make my trip hassle free i booked 2 rooms in 1st floor due to my aged parents but when i showed them the invoice they refused to give me any room initially saying that there are no rooms vacant in 1st floor and saying that they have not received any information regarding this booking they any how managed to allocate me in 4th floor after lots of hustle and argument therefore i was given a single room with 2 double bed room and i was forced to drag my old aged parents to 4th floor. Hence there is lack of communication between hotel manager. My mother were cerebral stoke patient and i became very difficult for me to drag her every time. Horrible experience i paid for 2 rooms but allotted a single double bed occupancy since i had no option left i had to choose single room please compensate and try to refund my extra amount paid

The property denied stay even after prebooking and full payment. They just deal with local tourist for booking at higher prices and reject the online bookings

The room was good, but it was overpriced.

Stayed in May, 2019. Located at heart of Old Digha. Beach is nearby. Faced Problem of AC, however the management shifted to other room immediately at night. Food at restaurant is poor quality, and above all it takes long time to serve food after order. Food price is ok. Suggestion- stay here and take your meals at adjacent Restaurant of Rajmahal Hotel; quality of food and behaviour of staffs here are excellent and I came to know that this hotel and restaurant is a sister concern of Ashamukti hotel.

Location is awesome. Staff behaviour is very bad. Food is Ok. The Hotel is not at all price worthy for 3 people for 2nights is too much. Room service is poor.

Not hygine, no lift for upper floors, only location and behaviour of staffs are very good. I have a issue with air-conditioner they immidiatly change my room. Need more cleanliness.

In front of sea side, nice room with all facilities enabled.

Hotel position is very handsome just one minute walking distance from old Digha Sea Beach. Hotel's stuffs are very much cooperative and pleasant in nature. I recommend it as one of the best hotel in the field of cleanliness and maintenance.

Location is very good. Very near to Biswa bengali Park. Walking distance from beach.

Staff behaviour was very bad. At first, I was told that you don't have any booking you have to leave and the staff was very rude and arrogant. When I told that I have booked through makemytrip, they calm down but no apologies from them. Room was good and the food was average. It is near the beach. But the behaviour must be polite. They also charged extra money from me for Digha Unnayan Project and gave me receipt which was not stamped when I told them to stamp but they denied. Overall a very bad experience. Staff were always shouting. Very boring. One must avoid these type of hotels. Makemytrip should also avoid this hotel. I stayed at many hotels like Hotel Rajeet, Hotel Mahek which were booked through Makemytrip but this time I gathered a very bad experience.

The behaviour of the hotel stuff is very rude. I have 4 days booking in this hotel. But one of the staff asked me to come in reception and told me you don't have any booking one last day. He was very rude and told me to left hotel. When I viewed him makemytrip voucher, he told he had not noticed. But there was no apology from him. Also they unnecessarily charged money for Digha Unnayan project. I told them to sign and give stamp on that receipt but they denied. They told every hotel take this charges. But I stayed at Hotel Rajit, Hotel Mahek, etc, but they never charged like this way. Makemytrip should avoid this type of hotels. Any one looking this hotel, please avoid. Room is good, location is also good but staff behaviour is very rough and tough which should be polite. Staff of this hotel were always shouting. I feel disturbed. Very disappointed.

Room was spacious and giving a good look of the surrounding. Good food and catering service. Housekeeping and laundry items needs improvement. I would be very happy to come again and refer friends too provided improvement is assured.

Nice hotel its near the beach. Hotel staff were excellent. Food wasn't that good but rooms were worth the money. Check out time is 10 am which creates a big problem for those who travel by train but the manager and the staff are very cooperative.
