Disappointing Experience Despite a Promising Location
We chose this property for its secluded location and out-of-the-city feel, which truly lived up to our expectations. The surroundings were peaceful and exactly what we were looking for.
However, the rest of our experience was quite underwhelming. The staff didn’t make us feel welcome at any point during our stay, and the overall service lacked the warmth and attentiveness you’d expect from a premium hotel. The food was mediocre at best—not what you’d expect from a place aiming for a 5-star rating.
One of the most frustrating parts of our stay was the late checkout issue. The staff had confirmed a late checkout the night before, but the next day, around noon, we were suddenly asked to vacate the room immediately. It was clearly a case of internal miscommunication, but it caused us a lot of unnecessary stress.
To top it off, the extra mattress provided was extremely uncomfortable—it sagging in the middle, making sleep nearly impossible.
Overall, not worth the value, and we left disappointed.
