Review Of Hotel Zamrud at Dal Lake

nice 1 night stay. rooms facing dal lake. very good house keeping and reception. great driver arranged with innovat crysta by hotel on short notice. overall great value for money.

No heater in the room. They kept a small “blower”. Bed linen wasn’t washed. The pillow cover was stinking. No hot water kettle in the room. Instead they sent hot water in a jug without a lid. No mineral water in the room. Breakfast was part of the deal but it wasn’t being served in the so called dining area. Instead they said, “baahar se leke aayenge”. The window panes are not sound proof. Overall shit hotel. It’s not even worth spending 1000 bucks on. Never again.

Excellent location. Nice view of the lake from room. Street food available nearby. Close to shankaracharya temple, and gardens.

Terrible stay, lot of noise in rooms. Only one thing good in this hotel is captain glam, his services are great lest pathetic hotel and services. - bathrooms dirty and no exhaust better stay away if you have other options.

Me and my husband had a very bad experience with these people. We were on our special vacation but the hotel literally destroyed the whole joy. They charged us 6000 per night but actually does not even worth it 1000 because of the room condition, washrooms were bad no hot water, beds were aweful. Moreover no lift and our room was on third floor. So definitely not recomending. Please dont waste your money.

Please avoid booking the hotel. The fee is non refundable and i did not checkout due to unhygienic rooms, dirty tissues were everywhere, the room was old and smelling bad. I did not check in and the staff did not even ask the reason for leaving. Pictures are totally different then room. Over priced and it's not even 2-star hotel.

Hotel location is nice, food was good only lunch n dinner facility is not there, but it's easily available very close by

Easy to find, so nice staff, such a beautiful experience. Hopefully we again reach soon. Sufficient place for morning walk

No door bell in room

Average property. No air conditioner. Quiet old. Need to be maintained. Need to keep your bags locked. Cant trust staff. Only rooms are big rest nothing good about the property.

It's a great location right on boulevard road. Best place to be in. Cleanliness and hygiene could be better. Overall a decent place to stay with family. We were 8 people and had taken 3 rooms.

They overbooked the hotel and canceled out booking in the middle of the night (no call no information. We had to overpay at a lower star hotel and stay spend the night there because of these people.

Hotel is ok, we have taken breakfast added but when we go for breakfast there are only 1-2 items only, toast was not proper, tea was cold

They provided me room in very late, door of bathroom was not closing, they promised me for two days extension but when we reached they said we dont have room.

Stay was very nice and staff was very co operative

One can enjoy a cinematic view of dal lake from this hotel. A nice old construction building with supportive staffs and good food

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting kashmir. 02. They were extremely accommodating and waited for our check in at 12 pm. We got to hotel super later. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. 03. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel zamrud. Every staff member i encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! thank you! will recommend to my colleagues! 04. The staff at this property are all great! they all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Please hotel zamrud give your staff awards! 05. Took advantage of the dal lake location to walk to dinner, check out a couple galleries, and have drinks. It was great. Service top notch as always. Bed comfort can not be beat. 06. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in srinagar. The dal lake area on main street is a best kept secret and the hotel zamrud offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.
