Review Of Hotel Simvo

Arrived in 26th december and enjoyed stay at hotel simvo very much. Booked hotel simvo, upper pelling through make my trip. Thanks. Saw kanchanjungha from room. Awesome experience. Food was delicious. Behavior of staff very good. Left simvo on 28th december. I suggest everyone to prefer this hotel.

Hotel simvo deny to give me gst bill while make my trip charged gst amount from me. *

It is a good hotel of pelling. Specially, their food is delicious. Service of the hotel staff is also good. They responded positively when i called them for any reason. The view of kanchenjunga is also clear from simvo but, just one problem is that room fare should be reduced a little bit according to the room fare of other good hotels around them. Also i thanks to makemytrip for this booking.

The location is good. The kanchanjanga range can be viewed from the room and associated balcony. The room allocated on the first day was subsequently changed on the second day with an inferior one. Normally this doesn't happen in other prebooked hotels. There is scope for improvement regarding hygiene and safety. The food quality was average. The staffs were extremely courteous and helpful.

Bathroom was small otherwise room was comfortable. Staffs also helpful.

We booked Hotel Simvo, Upper Pelling. Booked one Deluxe room for two nights without breakfast. The room offered was very average. Pros: 1. Staffs are very good, polite, cooperative 2. Location is good, at a walkable distance from the market area 3. You can have a clear view of Kanchanjhanga from the common balcony or terrace (Room and adjacent room) if the sky is clear. We were fortunate to get a view on the last day of our stay Cons: 1. Highly overpriced rooms as mentioned above 2. Free roaming of a dog (claimed to be a pet of hotel staffs) in the balcony, licking of food dishes/plates if let outside is disturbing in a commercial property. We saw stool of the dog in one morning though cleared by staffs promptly 3. Restaurant timing is inconvenient. You have to order food much before to get it in time. Same is mentioned in the menu card. Service is little slow. 4. Food taste is good but only suitable for Bengalis. Bengali food style. We liked it however it may not be suitable for non Bengalis. 4. Maintenance is not good. They should give lights in the balcony and make some sitting arrangements. Room conditions are not so bad though The main concern is overpricing by Make my trip. I suggest to book the hotel directly from hotel. Basically a budget hotel and for Bengali tourists. I would give 1 or max 1.5 ⭐ only for the good behaviour of staffs especially Mr. Anirban.

The best hotel in pelling. Staffs are very polite and supportive. Quality of food is superb. Don't hesitate to book this hotel if you are planning to visit pelling.

The hotel is in a very nice location with mesmerizing view if weather is clear. Again it's an old hotel so facilities are likewise. Room bed and washroom will clearly demonstrate its a budget hotel. Didn't enjoy the food taste that much. Overall the stay was nice due to location. None of the staff were wearing mask or niether the social distancing norms were followed

Hotel should do a thermal check also sanitize all guest checking in. Hotel staff was good. Hotel should introduce up i payments( gpay/ phone pay amazon pay etc) or card payments, not possible to carry cash.

Room is good, view is good, food is good but service is not up to the mark

I booked this hotel after going through the reviews. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the location, and the view of Kanchenjunga from the hotel room. This Hotel has the perfect location, my room had own balcony, and Kanchenjunga view was just spellbound from both my balcony and window. The view of the mighty peaks from the Hotel is just awesome. Clear weather along with the perfect view made our trip just too good. Talking of food, the price and the quality both were very good. The taste was awesome, and the rates were reasonable. Overall, a complete 5-star for me.

Nice hotel. But any kind of rules and regulations, please write down in notice board (specially for driver), otherwise, guest may not aware of this. Besides this, everything are fine.

Visited all the sightseeing places throughout the day. Enjoyed the evenings in a cozy room with tea/coffee accompanied by lip-smacking snacks.

Food quality is very bad, location upper Pelling

It was good experience to stay in hotel Simvo which locates in upper Pelling. Hope we will again stay in Simvo.

Overall impression is good. Room price was high due to peak season.

1. Kanchenjunga view full day form your privet balcony (room no 501). 2. Great food (Masala kulcha we like most) 3. Manager Mr. Avijit. Nice person. Very helpful. 4. Staff behavior and room service great.

Its a very good Hotel totally value for money you can See the Kanchenjunga clearly if the sky is clear. The facilities are nice and beautiful. The food is ok just like home.
