I had visited this hotel a few years ago and back then the experience was fantastic. On this trip, I noticed some new things:
1. During dinner, Mr. Manjeet Shokal ji, a charming singer gave a wonderful singing performance throughout the evening. His collection of songs and efforts were truly impressive.
2. The room was clean and the service was quick.
3. There was a lovely view, a well-maintained garden outside, and very courteous staff.
4. The restaurant staff were always helpful and cheerful, their smiling faces added warmth to the experience.
However, at the same time, I faced several problems during this visit:
1. The key card for the door gave trouble every time. It only opened after trying 4–5 times, which was quite inconvenient.
2. Being a satvik person, I expected more variety. For NONG ppl. Unfortunately, the meals mostly had only zeera aalu and sahi paneer. Even after repeatedly asking, no green vegetables were served. Strangely, when I ordered pasta, it came with lots of vegetables. This made me wonder, if vegetables were available, why couldn’t they prepare a no-onion, no-garlic dish for me?
3. For the first three days, there was no issue with water. But on the last day, during my early morning departure, there was absolutely no water in the bathroom for bathing, brushing, or freshening up. Despite informing the staff several times, not a drop came for over an hour. Finally, I had to manage using a tissue roll and bottled water before leaving.
4. Apart from the restaurant area, there was a persistent damp smell (of mold/mildew) in the reception, hall, and rooms. (May be Not in their control)
