The Lalit, Chandigarh

I stayed in this The Lalit, Chandigarh as my colleague insisted upon it and now I am true torchbearer of this The Lalit, Chandigarh for life. Like any Lalit The Lalit, Chandigarh this one is extremely luxurious. The huge lobby , the grand welcome just makes you feel special. The check in was swift. The room was quite spacious and really had all the amenities I required. The air conditioner was perfect allowing me a great night sleep. The pillows were soft and large like the way I love The bathroom was equally spacious with the best in class toiletries. However this is not the reason I became a fan. Let me highlight the reasons for you to understand 1. I enquired the time I need to leave the next morning as I had a morning flight. There was a senior staff at the counter who came to run some errand and he took the time out to explain everything in details. He also mentioned that the Uber/ Ola driver charge ₹50/- the parking fees over and above the fare and thus I should not cancel it as this is the norm and no cans go without it. I really appreciated this tips. Importantly he did not try or hinted me to take the The Lalit, Chandigarh paid drop in service 2. In the evening I went out and lost my room Keys. I am actually very bad in keeping anything with me , except the mobile phone. They did not charge me and just handed me a new key without a word 3. I left the The Lalit, Chandigarh the next day and went home. I got an email stating that I left my shorts and t shirt and I can get it picked up. While I did not need it as it was my humble night dress I have never experienced such proactive gesture from any The Lalit, Chandigarh in the world. And let me assure you, given my habit of losing things I have left behind even valuables at The Lalit, Chandigarhs and never got a call. This is customer delight and absolutely wonderful that such attitude a brand displays even today. Kudos to the The Lalit, Chandigarh and its staff. Well done and maintain this standard. Its always a pleasure staying at Lalit, Chandigarh. Food is good especially the complimentary breakfast that put a plethora of items, sweet dish etc. on the breakfast table. Location has never been a problem as it is easily accessible and is comfortably located in the peaceful vicinity of IT park. Also the The Lalit, Chandigarh staff right from the reception, room floor and the valet parking have been really cordial, warm and helpful. One incident that really surprised me was when electricity went off for some good 30 minutes or may be more. There are certain standards of a certified 5 star The Lalit, Chandigarh that have to be maintained. Incidents like this does not reflect good on The Lalit, Chandigarh’s immensely good reputation it has earned over the years. Having said that the electricity issue was resolved swiftly and I am sure that engineering or technical maintenance team will not let it happen again. Would love to come to Lalit, Chandigarh over and over again!!!

I alongwith my wife stayed at The Lalit Chandigarh between 11th Jul to 13th Jul 2025. Our stay was most relaxing and we had wonderful experience. Location of Lalit is calm and serene surrounded by forest, ideally suited for peaceful stay. Reception was excellent with welcome drink and prompt check-in formalities. Ms Iswari and Ms Aastha were very prompt in doing all the formalities and guiding us to the designated room and organising the transfer of our baggage to the room. They did the same during our check-out time. It was their very positive and helpful attitude which made us feel homely. Dining experience was excellent. Mr Arun, F&B executive was always there to enquire about any requirement. He was very positive, efficient and helpful. Room was excellent with all the facilities expected. Mr Karan, bellboy was another person to be appreciated for his helpful attitude. overall an experience to remember.

My stay at the property was beyond expectations .I really admire the cleanliness ,quality of food ,courtesy of the staff ..overall it was such a pleasant experience that whenever I'm in Chandigarh il stay in this property and recomend to my friends and family ..the location is par excellence .

Excellent property Buffet breakfast ultimate

Very good property and staff. Well spread breakfast. The location is little away from Airport or main city however getting local Ola is not an issue. Overall good experience.

Stay in Lalit was goodLocation is good. Food was good too. I was expecting butter chicken for dinner buffer and Chole Bhature for Breakfast but nothing was available. Otherwise food was good.

Toilet are not good of room no 446 in the toilet area mosquito 🦟 and cockroaches 🪳 are running but now in Lalit Chandigarh food quality and preparation are good and hygiene and chef is very good

Property is beautiful and upto the standard. Food was good. Hotel staff was helpful. Though as expected food was on expensive side.

The The Lalit, Chandigarh excelled in two things especially, Food and location. It's not to say that other services were below par but the food especially was far better than what I've had in other 5 star properties.

The room was spacious but the bed table warranted replacement due to normal wear and tear . Food was ok Paneer Tikka justified the cost but the veg club sandwich didn’t do justice with cost. Thanks
