Review Of Hotel O Stayz

The size of the hotel room is really small even for 1 person. Location: The location of the hotel is on the opposite side of the auroville beach and on a 5-10 minute walkable distance to auroville auto stand. It is easy to find just behind the rainbow residency. As for the hygiene of the room - overall the room was clean but there were lipstick stains on one of the pillow cover, the inside of blanket covers was really dirty with sooo many stains, and also there so many mosquitoes in the room. The bathroom is really small and the toilet seat was broken. Amenities: As a solo traveler who have stayed on many Oyo hotels, there were amenities like soap, shampoo and moisturizers that were provided by the company. But in this Oyo stay nothing was available. There were no glasses provided nor water bottles. So you basically have to carry everything. Don't expect basic amenities that are provided by the Oyo's Anyway, if you are claustrophobic I would recommend not to stay there it is really stuffy. I'm not claustrophobic yet I was feeling suffocated. Other then that my stay was pretty okay.

room wise it was goodthe reception guy had kept high volume to watch TV which was heard even after closing the door .over-all poor experience. Good for one night stay as a break from driving

I booked 2 rooms for my family(5 persons) for the night through OYO Rooms, but in the hotel, they provide only one and the excuse was that they face the electrical issues and in other rooms and the same time they were not willing to show other rooms. Actually, they insist as to stay in a single room instead of two. Also, the given room was not hygiene and bed sheets full of dirt and blood stains. AC is not working, one fan is not working, bathrooms are pathetic and the service was very poor. they asked us to carry the drinking water to our room, After all these woeful actions, while vacating the room they asked for room service tip and I denied it.
