Review Of Hotel Meghniwas

The hotel is located a little far from the hustle and bustle of the city, however if someone is visiting jaipur for the first time, and wants to stay near the city centre, i would suggest not ti stay here. But if someone is looking for a relaxing and chill stay, this hotel could be an ideal place. Rooms are good, all basic amenities are there, staffs are nice too. Their breakfast can be bettered as i found very limited options.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the stuff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting jaipur.

Great stay and value for money

It's a beautiful hotel. The owner is welcoming and extremely nice.

They are pet friendly which is a huge advantage as it allows me to travel with my pet. I have stayed with them several times before. This visit was no different. The boutique Hotel is tastefully done and impeccably run. Nothing is ever a bother for the service staff. One could to ask for anything more.

Low on basic amenities, hardly any variety for breakfast,

This is an old place but has been renovated and well maintained. It is run by the family who bought it several decades ago so it has an "older" feel to it. It is nicely landscaped and has a small swimming pool. The food in their restaurant was very good. I would stay here again!

Royal feeling! The hotel is like an old palace built for new world requirements. Stayed there with family in their garden suites which are garden facing and swimming pool facing. Definitely worth staying when you are in Jaipur. The environment is friendly and more like a guest than a customer at a hotel. The hotel is located on a highway close to the railway station that made it easy to flag down taxis/ricks for travel to eateries close by. The rooms are large clean and walloped. The staff at the reception were very helpful in getting up set up with the city tour and airport drop etc. The restaurant food is homely with traditional rajasthani flavors. Overall, a good stay option at an affordable price.

Hotel is located in the city centre. Easily accessible to central bus station and railway station. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are well maintained. Local travels will be arranged by hotel. The ambience at Hotel is good. The reception and room service is not available 24 hours. Not a great food menu in hotel.

The concept in booking hotels is to get good services like relaxed environment, good food, clean rooms and all other amenities. And seriously this hotel provides nothing. This is my first review in any travel site. We got the rooms in which beds were separated. In pictures, they shown the best of the rooms. How can they provide two separate beds to a couple. Even the other room's double beds were too small that a family with a 2 years kid can't fit into. Rooms were noisy (traffic noise) and we were actually feeling that I am sleeping on road. Honk noise was all around and echoing. No one was present at the service desk. Owner attitude is damn bossy and horrible. For any service like ordering the food in rooms, they have some statements like they are short of resources and they cant deliver in the rooms. We booked the hotel around 11 PM and checked in the hotel on 1:30 AM. And no-one was available to unwrap/deliver the luggage from the car to room. So overall, a horrible experience with noisy rooms of this so called hotel. And the main thing is that it's not that cheap. My biggest mistake in booking this hotel that too for 2 nights :(. No policy for cancellation.

A small but quite property for a relaxing stay in the heart of city. Book pool facing room if available as other rooms are quite cramped and small for a family. Staff is very friendly. Choice of tv channels is very limited. Breakfast menu should have more variety.

We went with 2 kids and had a very welcome and relaxing stay in Meghniwas. Food was awesome & the staff very accommodating. Truly home away from home. The place is also very close to tourist attractions & railway station. Will definitely visit again.

We chanced upon this hidden delight and were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and empathy shown by the staff. The owners are always available and the hospitality is impeccable. Loved the carefully done up rooms. There was a creak in our ceiling fan and they immediately arranged for a room change. Food is a little over priced. Given the chaotic metro construction within the wall city. This was perfectly located. Away from all the noise and hassle.

I suggest everyone to select this hotel if you want waste your money. In this hotel you can not find any good facilities. I think this hotel like big house.

It is a family run hotel and this shows in how they make their guests feel at home. They booked ten tickets for me and gave me advice on what to do and where to go. The food was very good and the swimming pool and garden made it a lovely place to relax.
