It was a great experience, the location, ambience, quality of the food they served along with behaviour of the staffs were all too good and professional. The provision of private beache was just like a cherry on top so we and my partner had some quality time there because of that away from the usual crowds.

Pros and Cons of Hotel Holiday Resort: PROs 1. On the sea beach 2. Clear view of the sea from the Family rooms (516) 3. Located in a peaceful area of the city. 4. Restaurant food is pretty good. 5. Rooms are clean and staffs are polite. 6. Generous with bottled water in the room. CONs 1. Horrible check out policy at 8:30 AM. Though they were kind enough to extend ours to 10:30 AM. If they seriously implement it then one has to leave without having breakfast. They should seriously look into the issue keeping in mind the arrival and departure time of the popular trains used by the majority of the tourists. 2. Family rooms though have 2 double beds is small for 4 persons. For two persons also the room is not comfortable as there are 2 dbl beds and consequently no space to move around. There are no provision for unpacking the suitcases. I strongly suggests that in some of 43 Family rooms be converted into Premium dbl bedrooms with one double bed and other necessary furniture w/o altering the room tariff for Family rooms. 3. At the time of check out, various departmental staffs crowd around you at various locations like Restaurant, lobby, Gate etc for TIPS. This practice is quite annoying.

Improvement required in front office as well as house keeping and room services.House keeping staff as well as room services were expecting tip everytime they deliver or clean the room.They need to be trained well as it is quite uncomfortable situation when everytime they come for some work.

never book a room in the ground floor
i had a bad experience during myrecent two-night stay. Here are my comments/ recommendation for fellow travellers 1. Never book a room in the Ground Floor. The ground floor is practically at below ground level (at basement level) So, forget about Ocean view, you will NOT get any view from your room at all. There is only one window that also opens towards the wall of another building, hence you have to keep ypur window permanently closed, so no ventilation in the room. 2. the hotel building looks great from outside. But rooms are old and not well maintained. During our entire stay they could not fix the cistern of the flushing toilet. we couldn't flush the toilet regularly after usage (can you imagine?) 3. Housekeeping/ Room service are not responsive. You have to call them multiple times for small things like refill drinking water, refill tea-bags etc. 3. please make sure you verify your food bills during checkout. They had included someone else's food bill to my room. However, they corrected it promptly when I pointed out the same. However, rooms are clean, hotel staffs are well behaved. Hotel location is good. restaurant food is good too.

i went to Puri with family for Jagannath Darshan with a plan of 2days, I had a great Darshan and truly wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel is situated in an excellent location, making it very convenient to explore nearby attractions. Whether for leisure walks or easy access to transport, the spot couldn’t have been better. The surrounding area was safe, peaceful, and yet well-connected to the main city hubs. Food: The dining experience was simply outstanding. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast spread was diverse, offering all options. Lunch and dinner were equally delightful, with impeccable taste and attention to detail. The staff at the restaurant were courteous, attentive, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Amenities: The hotel offers a wide range of modern amenities that ensured a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. The fitness center, pool, and spa were excellent, offering both relaxation and recreation. The overall stay at hotel Holiday resort was very comfortable. The ambience and atmosphere was very much tourist friendly and especially the beach was fantastic. The evening tea and Jhal mudi was a new experience. We strongly recommend to tourists the Resort is a definitely a Hot spot in Puri

This is a goto choice property for families, the location is 9/10. Food and amenities provided are good, except the front desk staff seemed to be arrogant and careless towards their guests.
