Review Of Hotel Deodar Villa

Stay was lovely. The property is clean and located at the top of a small street that opens onto the temple road. There are many food options nearby, but we didn't try the restaurant and i'm not sure what/if they serve. The view from the balconies is simply stunning. Mr. Prakash was very welcoming and we had a lovely stay.

The best location if you are visiting the dalai lama temple. Place is peaceful and quiet, people working there are kind and helpful.

Too good experience staying here. Stayed in the property for 6 days without facing any problem. Location is good. Staff is good n helpful. They upgraded my room on their own since i had a long stay in mecloadganj. View is just too good

Average hotel having not it's own parking. Charges 300 extra for car parking. So better to find out other options if you have your own vehicle

The best on this room was the view from the balcony. Also it was a very quiet room. All the rest was standard, but ok, you had to ask for it. Friendly staff.

The hotel is situated at a height which might be too steep for old age people or with medical condition, otherwise this place is worth staying. The view from hotel of valley is stunning, excellent staff & service following all covid-19 protocols. North indian cuisine was delicious. Owner mr. Vijay helped us with other arrangements for our 3 day trip.

Had a short stay at this place, solace kind of thing and fantastic views and yet very much in middle of the place. Parking and taxi and Lama Temple all nearby. Will come back again.

The stay was very good. Rooms are quite good with a good site. And also I got early check-in 2 hour before timings.

I went to Mcleod hank for my honeymoon. The Hotel was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view from the patio. The location of the Hotel was also great. We loved our stay there.

The hotel cancelled my booking and didn't even bother to inform me of the same . I had made the booking more than a month back and paid the amount in full. I had to book a different place at a much higher rate.

Hotel is situated at McLeodganj, just 2 min walking distance from Dalai Lama temple. Food and Parking facility is a big concern as the roads are very narrow. Also the hotel is an altitude so be prepared for a steep ride up to the hotel. Rest everything can be managed well.

Hotel bliss valley was very unprofessional. There was no back up for light. In night as well as morning light not available for more than hour. Will never recommend the hotel for anyone. Was left with no option than staying as MMT had to offer this at last minute. Hoping they take care this never happens again.

To reach hotel Need to walk .. And for family suites you need to take stairs around 100 steps. Not value for money for family suites. View from the hotel is good, not so big balcony and lotta bugs and spider in room.

View from room balcony. View from room balcony is very nice Hotel is located near the monastery but it is difficult to reach out at hotel. Alto car will come to take you at monastery gate. It is high rise road with narrow width. Hotel is located at the end of the road. View from balcony of room is nice. But room are over charged. Staff is nice. But overall comparison of the cost vs room is not justifiable.

This hotel is at a walking distance from Dalai lama temple, but the approach to this is a narrow lane which can only be accessed by small cars (like Maruti 800), even Alto has little difficulty to access, so plan accordingly. Also the walk is a steep climb of about 250m from temple entrance. So inform the hotel staff and they will pick up from the temple entrance. We were on a fun trip across Michal and did not mind this climb. What is best of this hotel is its view. It is a breathtaking view of Dharamshala on one side, with Dalai lama residence on other and Dhauladhar on other side. This view is common for most of the rooms on a clear day is amazing (unfortunately for us, first day was rainy and second day at late evening the sky got clear and we enjoyed the view). Hotel allowed us early check-in at morning time and also provided us complimentary tea. Restaurant food is good and we had dinner on one of the night. It was good in quantity and sufficient for three. The WiFi in the hotel is poor and difficult to access at many times as the rooms are below ground level, hopefully it can be improved. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Considering the location and climb, if it suits you, it is a good place to be put up being its vicinity to temple and center area.

Every thing good include location, rooms, staff behavior, room service and cleanliness. The food is very tasty and served hot. Its very near to dalai lama temple they provide also taxi if you required. Staff is very helpful overall its very pleasant stay in this hotel
