Great location and staff with below average rooms
Location is top and staff will support you with their best efforts. The owner Mayan has allowed us for early checkout and also gave the best suggestions to see the rest of things, places to stay and restaurants. Other staffs are also very helpful.Only thing is hotel is not very clean and hygiene is the issue. If someone can adjust that then it’s a great place to stay.

If your main priority is staying very close to Mahakaleshwar Temple to minimize walking and maximize convenience for darshan & aarti, Hotel Bholenath is a great choice. It’s a budget stay, not luxury, so go with modest expectations — some amenities are basic, and there may be minor maintenance issues. The location is unbeatable, service is good, and the owner is very helpful — he even gave us a free upgrade from a 2-bed AC room to a 3-bed AC room. The hotel also provides 24x7 hot water and Wi-Fi, which made our stay comfortable. Overall, it’s a very good budget stay option for anyone visiting Mahakaleshwar Temple and wanting to stay just a few steps away from the shrine. 🙏

Okay for thw given price but fit for 800-900 room
For Mahakal dharsan. The room size is very small considering the price of stay. If you are willing to stay a bit away like 400- 800 m you will get a lot of hotels at the same price. Staff behaviour is excellent, even let me stayed for longer hours.

Average Stay
Hotel was okay okay. You won’t regret booking but at the same time you won’t feel very excited about it. We booked a family non-ac room in 2600 by mistake and it was converted in to ac room after paying 300 more so making it to 2900 for 1 family room for 1 night. The staff were helpful. The best thing was location, just 2 min away from temple.

staff is not supporting
staff is not supporting, even water is also chargeable, i reached the hotel in mid night and no one guided me properly to reach hotel.

Nice staying in Ujjain for Mahakal Darsan
Location is very good, near Jyotirlinga, Hotel staff are very co-operative and good behavior..it is good experience during Ujjain visit.

- very close to temple - bathroom was very dirty - not hygienic - need staircase - one person sleeping on sofa in common passage area, that one not comfortable

Super location, few minutes from the temple. Rooms were just ok. but at this price point you cannot expect 5 star services. Staff was helpful, great hospitality. #217 is the room to go for, straight darshan of the temple from the window and one can see aarti on LED screen also.

location is very good but the condition they have maintained the property is pathetic. no one is bothered about the cleanliness of the property. it is not you should paint it and keep it shining, basic necessity is to clean it properly which the staff never do here.

I stayed in room 217 that was having view of mandir and the live darshan of led tv of baba mahakaal. room is enough for 3 members and near to gate no 4. entrance of hotel is very small it is 8 feet wide and 60 feet length inside .

familyThe property is very old, pictures are totally misleading.Hotel rooms were smelling terrible. I shifted to another nearby hotel the same day. NIT AT ALL RECOMMENDED.
