Good Experience BUT....
The room and bathroom were very clean, and in good condition. The owner was kind. The homestay is kinda tough to reach tho (esp if it is your first time in Darjeeling). The food is kinda expensive but you can get cheap and good food near the homestay (walking distance). Overall, it was a good experience but I would not suggest it if you have senior citizens travelling with you.

Thank u very much. We take orders for food and cook specifically for guests, maintaining hygiene & health. Being a hillstation, yes, it's uphill, bt we r blessed with the view of SLEEPING BUDDHA.

I really enjoyed my stay at himchuli homestay. it was one of the prettiest homestays. as i was able to see mount kanchenjunga very clearly from there . Also the owner of the homestay was very polite and very helpful. the most amazing thing was their home cooked food 😌❤️. Do select this homestay if you plan a trip to Darjeeling.

Himchuli homestay bad experience
Extremely horrible experience during my 2 days stay at himchuli on 31st dc 24 and 1st jean 25. Reasons are provided below : 1. Himchuli homestay located in dalai which is about 4 km from proper darjeeling bus stand. 2. The homestay don't have any room heater which is a minimal requirement. 3. The water supply is completely inadequate. 4. The toilet condition is extremely poor. 5. Food price is very high 6. The owner didn't provide a blanket even after it has been requested for. 7. To me it's a wrong choice and extremely bad service. Certainly i don't deserve this poor quality service at a high cost. Overall a very pathetic experience for me during my 2 days stay at himchuli.

Dear Sir, 1. The bus stand (usually the guests know about the distance and all my guests have booked a proper cab for travelling and exploring Darjeeling) you are one of the 1st kind who visited my place without any proper knowledge! Your homework was poor! 2. Room heater is not allowed here. Your homework was poor again. 3.the water supply is 24/7 with geyser facilities. What else do you need at such a cheap rate? 4. The mess you made of the rooms where drinking and smoking isn't allowed, which u did, leaving behind ur historic poop was not expected from the English speaking guest. 5. The home-cooked food is the appreciation we have collected from our other guests unlike ur needs and requirements which can be found in cheap hotels and motels but not in homestays. Please learn the difference between hotels n homestays. 6. The price you have paid to stay in our homestay was far less than what I have encountered while cleaning the room where u had stayed. 7. One of the 1st guest who was disappointed with the room with the mountain views at such a cheap rate. We apologise that Darjeeling and the homestay price rate was out of your kind budget. So kindly do your homework according to your budget. Thank you. Your kind name and address is blacklisted in our homestay. Thank you for unkind messing of the room that you have stayed in. The larger question to you kind sir, is this how u stay at your house?

familyHimchuli home stay is very friendly and neat. It is located in west point. You can easily visit dalai monastery, zoo, batasia loop, yigo monastery and more. Its center of the darkeeling. Very good atmosphere. Room is very clean and neat. Finally the caretaker and his wife. They are awesome. Very friendly and kind. Thankyou team

Pros: stay was nice. Room is as shown as in picture. Owner and his family is friendly. Cons: u should come back to the place by 10 to 10:30pm. Also bread omelet was awesome and milk tea was worst.

Thank u! As for the milk tea, you never complained at that time. You said everything was great, and even extended your stay for two nights I would have taken necessary action if you had complained at the very moment. And this is the first time to hear such a feedback because milk tea was served in both the rooms at the same time or maybe we could not meet your expectation of "MILK TEA" and I am sorry for that.

Memorable Stay at Himchuli Homestay
The Homestay is located in the West Locality of The Darjeeling, in the Heart of City, Near to all Important Spots, Dali Monestry is only walking distance. The Homestay is managed by Ravi Lal and His Family, The Family is very Good in nature and Humble. They are ready to help you for any Issue. Food prepared by Aunty Ji is very Delicious and Tasty. At the age of 60+ Both are very active. I highly recommend staying in their Home stay

The best experience ever
Everything about this place was amazing. Starting the hosts - uncle and aunty to the food to the view outside. We were a group of three girls and felt utmost comfort and safety. Uncle and aunty are the best people and will take care of every little need you have. Aunty’s chicken although was the show stopper and should not be missed. Overall, i had the best days here and cannot wait to be back.

familyWell and comfortable stayed. Owner is very helpful. Mountain view and garden. 4 to kms away from mall road and market area. Owner makes food for guest. The said room is perfect for small family. The problem is that the road is too high to climb to reach the location. Otherwise nice stayed.

An awesome homestay in reasonable price.
The property is in dali, which is about 3 kms from main market. To reach this property you'll get taxi continously. The hospitality was very good and owners were very gentle. The food was good and home like and at a reasonable price. Overall the experience was pretty good.

Excellent homestay. The best thing is food is amazing with reasonable cost, nice view, and cooperative owner. I highly recommend this to everyone. In one word it's amazing.
