I recently stayed at this homestay and had an amazing experience! The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring mountains and tracks . I loved the home-cooked meals and the opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture. Highly recommend. the view from the balcony is mesmerizing

Best homestay in Ghum Dar

Me & my wife stayed in this homestay for 2 days. The room was very clean, with wooden interiors and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Bathroom is also very clean, geyser is available in bathroom. There was no water problem in the homestay. This room also have a balcony. That was a peaceful experience in my life, when I was sitting at the balcony with my wife & drinking tea. This room is placed on the top of Darjeeling. They provide me enough blankets without any extra charges. Room made cooking was awesome, they can cook anything which you want to eat. They treated me like family, I am really miss them. Last day when we leave from the homestay, they gives me two mountain seeding. that was really like my wife. It is placed 5km from ghum railway station. we was came from krishnanagar to Darjeeling by scooty, so travelling to the homestay from mall road was not any problem for me. We will upload a riding video to my YouTube, also we will add this homestay experience in the video. My YouTube channel is dancer housewife. I am highly recommend to anyone come in this homestay without any hesitation. It is budget friendly.

Cooking is not allowed inside room, because those are wooden room, it's very risky. I think you have brief knowledge about that. Bonfire is less costly than other homestays, wood is costly and we have to buy with transportation cost. Thank you so much for your feedback ๐
