Location is great. Quite and peaceful. Walkable distance to salt lake metro. They provide healthy breakfast, friendly environment and provides basic facilities like towel, bedsheet, blanket as well.

Stayed one day at Guten Tag and it was a delightful experience. Warm hospitality, neat rooms, and a peaceful vibe made the short stay memorable. Perfect blend of comfort and service. Would happily return and recommend to others.

Yeah the neighbourhood was really nice not so far from the airport and the train station. The people were really nice as well. But the rooms were tiny and 6 people were staying in the same room so that is a problem. Other than that it was nice.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Guten Tag.The environment was good and the amenities provided were as per description.I would recommend the stay to people planning to visit Kolkata

Overall well-maintained beds with a comfy seating place, easy location, clean property. only thing is no food option is available in the hostel, so you have to order food outside, overall great stay.!

Stayed for 2 days and 1 night, and it was pretty comfortable, location is also peaceful and close to almost all locations i wanted to go and the host was also chill. Highly recommend this hostel

Bathrooms floors are slimy and gross. Air conditioning is uneven and doesn't reach the top bunks. Food is okay, don't expect much but atleast they give more than other hostels I've gone to (other hostels don't give eggs). Wifi is slightly unstable but good enough. Rooms are way too cramped and the bunks are of poor quality. The receptionist is friendly and accomodating

Stayed in an AC mixed Dorm. Guten Tag is located in a quiet and beautiful residential area. As a solo female traveller, safety is very important for me. I felt incredibly safe in Guten Tag—safe enough to not even avail the locker facilities! The host was very sweet. The breakfast options were limited, but if you are in Kolkata you HAVE to eat breakfast outside for the authentic experience. You have to walk for a few minutes from the hostel to reach the metro, or take one of the tuk tuks for 20 rs. It is not as well-connected as I thought it would be, but I'll never complain about a chance to walk through the quaint residential area. There are ample common areas to chill about. Laundry services are available too. You can meet some cool people here.

Chill vibes, super social atmosphere, and clean dorms—perfect for backpackers! Amazing and friendly staff.
